Honestly it looked like you were throwing it great. You consistently hit the pocket way more than others I have watched. I agree with Russo. You had one of the best looks in the building. The pins just didn't want to fall for you. If you got a bit better carry you are looking at a top 30 finish. You prepared for the lanes well, threw good shots, and controlled what you can control. I would say that is a great week. If the pins just carried a bit more or you had one less low game you are in this thing. I would say that was a very positive week.
@ronallen657810 ай бұрын
You're probably pretty much on spot with Brad. One big problem though. Too many "ifs" in the story. No ifs and everyone bowls great. True or not. Biggest little word in the English language----IF

Great stuff Brad! You really have no idea how brutal they are until you bowl one. Just curious if you saw anyone with urethane on the lip or was anyone using a ton of surface? Seemed like fallback 20 was the play for most that scored well?
@mabs990010 ай бұрын
I havent bowled in almost 10years but still watch it religiously. I must say i love watching the pros struggle not because i want you all to be miserable but watch the little adjustments and little hand intricacies that you all do shot to shot.. Great job brad..

@@preastlake13 I totally agree. I have been trying to comment often that he always looks so confident with that line when the lanes allow it. I do think if Brad unlocks that shot he can be the next Norm. We should start a trend of telling Brad he is the next norm Duke. Don’t give up the pocket, keep it simple, and win tournaments

Brad - you are REALLY good at going straight up the lane - some pairs you probably needed a jump up in a bit up 10-12 where the gutter was not finishing as well (lanes 27-28)

Seeing you fire it up 2nd arrow with little to no movement looked like how I throw my Tropical Surge on the burnt-out dusty dry lanes I bowl on at league every Sunday night in the Chicago area (which, by the way, good luck to both of you in the Chicago tournament, might stop by and check it out)!

I would love to see the house bowlers who think they are good bowl on this shot. I average 216 in league and I know I'm not that good. However, there are guys who average 225+ on an easy shot and think they walk on water. Those are the same guys who wonder how they have ever left a 10 pin in their lives.

Why doesn't USBC stream qualifying for free so people can watch and donate? It makes no sense. It would open up a huge demographic of people to bowling and allow PBA to get donations and reach way more people. Qualifying has always had this veil of secrecy and now hidden behind a paywall.

Over a 200 average. Anything over 200 is plus; under is minus. So if your first game is 212 you are +12. Then if your second game is 195 that’s -5 so your cumulative score is +7.
