I got my green N64 around 2 years ago in a pile with other "defective" stuff (most of it worked), it's in great condition. Sadly it came without the controller, and here the controller allone is ~50 Euros, because it was never sold separately. I hope to get it cheaper, though. Personally I love buying defective lots, I got so much nice stuff for cheap that way, mostly because the original owners didn't bother checking or couldn't figure out how it worked.

Love seeing people able to pick up Funtastic systems at a reasonable price. I feel very fortunate that the N64 in my collection (also a Funtastic Green 🙂) is the one my parents got me as my very first console all the way back in 1999! The same is true with the GameCube in my collection, which was the first system I bought with my own money in 2003. Currently at 68% of the North American N64 library, and 48% of the North American Gamecube library. Keep hunting those deals, and may luck smile upon you!

Just use 70% isopropyl alcohol on plastic, and 90%+ isopropyl on components. Be careful using a magic eraser, and also just brushing over the label how he is. That label clearly has some early moisture damage and you'll sometimes wipe the ink right off of the label when you apply a chemical and rub it. Also just letting your label get too wet is going to permanently damage it. Whenever putting liquid on the label, don't let that sit on it. It will soak in.
