This Peavey UltraVerb is broken. Let's repair it.

We try to fix this Peavey UltraVerb that is not working . The UltraVerb is similar to the Peavey AddVerb with more programming, storage and algorithms. This is not a demo video. We will only repair it.

Great video, I have to replace the battery on my AddVerb II also, Can I replace the battery with easy replaceable coin batteries instead of having to solder and unsoldering. Seems like it would be easier to replace the factory battery with something more user friendly. Thanks, glad I found your video.

The AddVerb II uses the same battery so you would have to use a 3.7V NiMH or Ni-cad rechargeable battery. You cannot use a single coin cell. The charging circuit is designed for NiMH or Ni-cad. There is really no other way to do it. You will need to remove the old one and solder in a new one.

Thank you for posting this. I have a Peavey Addverb that's been in the family since 1988 and I never knew about the ni-cad battery, so I am attempting the replacement. Quick question, one of hte LEDs is bent and broken (the green LED above the PR/PA button is identical to the one on this unit). Are these pretty standard parts or unique and hard to replace? TIA!

They are just LEDs. You can use 3mm LEDs. Make sure you put them the correct way.

Interesting the board says "adverb" on it. I wonder what the difference between this and the 'Add Verb' is, if any.

Its basically the same with more features. It has all of the features and controls of the original AddVerb with additional factory presets and additional programming and storage capabilities.
