I think the origins bumblee is the best one, it looks the part, it has an awesome alt mode, and the head looks a lot better on the origins than the Netflix one.

This one looks good in still pictures, but for me, partsforming is unforgivable. The new SS86 Bumblebee fixes that, if you don't mind that his alt mode is proportioned like the the original toy, and not like a real Volkswagen.

My definitive Bumblebee has to be MP-21 because of the lack of partsforming, but I totally get it if someone would rather have partsforming than pay $120+ (I managed to get MP-21 for way cheaper years ago, but I've seen some crazy prices for it recently).

I agree this is the ultimate bumblebee for g1. My favorite transformer I own (might be kinda biest as bee is my favorite autobot) the only thing that'd make him better if he had more g1 colors and include the blaster from the centurion pack. But yeah definitely 11/10 for me.

This Bumblebee was a hard fig to find, having 5 WalMarts in the county I lived in a few years ago. But I DID find it at retail, same with the Earthrise Soundwave.

To add to this... not only do you need to get this rare Bumblebee... but then you need to get the almost as rare Centurion Drone (ONLY available on Pulse a few years ago) to get Bee's G1 Gun

They get leeway because it’s often impossible designs to do without partsforming, and even then there have been some absolutely stellar non-partsforming combiners out there. Bumblebee can easily be done without partsforming. It’s been done before. This is just lazy

this is my bumblebee I waited super long and my bumblebee was lacking in my collection, I didn't want to settle for a bumblebee that wasn't transforming into a VW Beatle. It isn't perfect but it's good enough for me. How the back attaches is not ideal I prefer no loose parts myself and the color isn't perfect G1 yellow but I am nitpicking here. There is a KO out there (kbb hornets agent) which is more G1 cartoon accurate then this one, but I was never able to find it.
