Yes agree clean up in Canada. Pay people enough to do the cleaning. Robots will never cut it when it comes to janitorial duties. Due to so many homeless forced to live on the streets, parks, tents, vans,cars, coupled with no washrooms to access or garbage services it makes for an unhealthy eye sore. Thankyou Alina for showing us some of the attractions and live footage of south China, that showcases the culture, the food, the buildings and people engaging, the countryside and all their traditions. Speaking of Indonesia, if you get a chance to visit Pulau Belitung (short local plane ride from Jakarta), there's a little street corner cafe called Kong Djie Siburik. great coffee there as well. although i suspect if i dig further into Jakarta or Bandung, i'd find similar quality shops all over the place in non-touristy neighborhoods too. Love all the "es durian" too. Can't wait for your Bali vids to come out.

I am Chinese Canadian and I went there for the first time in 2020 right when Covid hit. I only visited landmarks in Beijing but when I went to my ancestral area (Chaoshan, Guangdong) , everything shut down. Having watched your videos, I need to renew my visa and go back as soon as possible. I mean, there is so much to see. BTW Alina , you are absolutely stunning.

Jiuzhaigou Valley, Shangri-La and Canyon of Nujiang River are highly recommended. There are many amazing scenic areas in Yunnan, but language would be a tough question. I'd like to help if you have any problem.

actually you do need to register with your real name any drone over 250g in China to the uav dept of the CAAC website. you will need a phone with a China sim card for a Chinese phone number and it's quite likely you'll also need a WeChat account, and someone who can read Chinese as the registration will be completed entirely in Chinese. regulating drone is typically quite lax, but if you do get into trouble, it'll be extra trouble if your drone wasn't registered so it's a good idea to do so before you fly.

as for Hong Kong, any drone over 250g will also need both the drone and the pilot to be registered with eSUA - Civil Aviation Department website/app. many people don't, but again, most of the time there's no issue but if something does happen and you aren't registered, that's not going to be good for arguing your case. better to be safe than sorry.

@@AlinaMcleod that’s a great idea. i have a registered Mavic 3 Pro (China, HK, and Japan registered) but i’m also considering a Mini for that purpose. *also FYI Japan’s registration is for all drones above 100g (see DIPS). again, not strict but there’s also a ton of places that put up signs they are unable to regulate saying no drones allowed in their area. i shoot mostly in natural or rural areas that are confirmed MLIT legal, and even then i have to watch out for private lands that banned drones, and there’s a lot of nosy Karens in Japan who claim to know “all the laws”.

Perhaps it's difficult to a north american understand that in china there's no tribes. There are 56 ethnic groups composing all the population, instead tribes like those segregated tribes in north america. In USA and Canada there are the aborigenes and the european conquerers' descendents, and those aborigenes living in tribes with particular territories, but in china never occurred something similar to that. And the 56 ethnic groups have equal rights, sometimes having the minorities some advantages to equalize with the han, eg more points in Gao cao.

I live in San Francisco bay area. I was born and brought up in Shanghai. However, I at one time lived in thatched house on stilts for a decade in southern Yunnan province, where the Thai minority people live in the tropical rain forest. You may consider that place on your itinerary for your next trip.
