WOE. This is crazy stuff. It's like mental torture. It's like pressing an open wound for fun. There are people who are frenemies and get close enough to know your weak spots and painful memories. I have always had a strange nagging feeling that my sister slept with my ex husband years ago while I was away on business. At the time we had been living under the same roof, my parents house. They were out of the country and begged me to return to my home state to take care of their house and my mother's business. I was living in DC at the time and me and my ex both had great jobs and a fun lifestyle with likeminded friends. My toxic parents decided to travel for a year, and didn't want to leave the house and business so they begged me my ex to relocate. We resisted and his parents were against it too. But I forced it. And we relocated. My sister and her husband moved back too because my mother didn't trust me with her business even though I was the one who stood by her side for ten years while in college and grad school as she verbally abused me in from of the public. I was traveling a lot at that time. I would leave for a week at a time. I believe my sister slept with my ex husband because she wanted to have a baby but her husband was not in the country yet. My ex was 6;2. Her ex was 5;9. I returned from the trip and she was smiling like the Cheshire cat and eating healthy foods all by herself on the patio. My husband was teetering around the house in a weird mood. My sister's behavior struck me as odd but I had to t for another business trip. The idea passed through my mind that there was some "hanky panky" while I was away. I dismissed the ludicrous idea and carried on. I went on another trip leaving her alone with my ex husband. When I returned she announced that she had booked a flight to London to spend time with her husband. She had done the math and figured out her fertile period and scheduled her trip to fit in just right. The timing would be perfect for appearances. It was at that time that my sister announced she was travelling back to Europe to visit her husband for two weeks. OUT OF THE BLUE. And 2 weeks later she returned to announce she was pregnant. She had the same GLOW on her face that I noticed a month earlier when I returned from the Chicago business trip to find her smiling and eating brunch alone on the patio,: green tea, yogurt, vitamins, fruits...SIMPLY GLOWING with a smirk on her lips. I didn't question it. She was MY BEST FRIEND. WE SHARED A ROOM. SHE WAS MY MAID OF HONOR. She also eloped on the day before my wedding and asked me to be witness. AM I CRAZY? AM I THE BITCH? WHAT AM I THINKING? SHE IS NOW MY NUMBER 1 HATER?? MY READERS HAVE DESCRIBED A FEMALE ENERGY WITH HATRED FOR ME WHO WAS ENVIOUS OF MY LIFE AND THOUGHT LIFE WAS ALWAYS TOO EASY FOR ME. When she returned after 2 weeks she announced she was pregnant! Her son was born nine months later. Her now ex husband was upset because he didn't expect it and he thought she had tricked him. The healthy baby boy had my ex husband's coloring, dark hair and eyes and he grew to be 6'2". Her husband had lighter brown hair and he was 5'9'. Her son was the official FIRST GRANDSON" of the family and my mother was overjoyed. It was a strange period of time because everything seemed somewhat off. I now suspect my nephew is actually my ex husbands illegitimate son. My sister is a perfectionist and I think she wanted to give birth to a handsome tall son. My husband was handsome and tall. Hers was a short unkempt hippy looking BOHO with no ambition and no desire to live in the US. He divorced her shortly after the child was born. I AM NOW THE OUSTED MEMBER OF THE TOXIC SECRETIVE FAMILY. THE unwanted. one. 'They spend their days gossiping about what is happening in my now messed up life, my ruined career and my excessive drinking. I divorced my husband after only 4 years as my sisters settled into their lives, watching me fall apart, and not offering any support. Now at family funerals and family events I feel paranoid that everyone is staring at me, assessing me, watching my every move and also avoiding me. 'Then I assume its my weight gain. when I turn to my sisters to vent they say "It's your EGO talking. You waste energy thinking people don't like you at your jobs, and around family.
