I used to do this when I was first starting as killer when I’d find a really strong survivor. I did it so I could get better at chases since at that mmr I wasn’t running into many good survivors. Though I wouldn’t camp them if I caught them. I always wanted people to get off the hooks so I could get into as many chases as possible. Wasn’t a matter of ego, was a matter of getting better. Idk if that’s what this guy was doing though.

@@BoostedComposer it isn't necessarily just your internet though, if you live far from the servers you're just doomed to high ping. I've experienced the ecstasy of 20 ping when I lived in Tokyo and I've experienced the typical ping of 40-60ms average living in Central East Coast. Geography matters.

@@22ina it's both. I've played in Tokyo on good internet and bad internet, both places close enough that the ping would be the same if it were geography only. Its got some to do with your internet connection quality, but yes, geography definitely comes in big.
