The first game made it pretty obvious how the intruder got in, the garage door. The door is closed when you start but is open later on, indicating they were inside and were on their way to take the fuse.

Can you play the mortuary assistant it's a good and terrifying game there is 5 endings and there are hard to get and find. Just make sure you banish the demon correctly. You played the game 9 months ago and the full game came out recently I think. There are playthroughs on other channels and I would love to see your reaction to the new scars and mechanics
