This place had WEEDS growing INSIDE | Unbelievable Garden Rescue

You won't believe what I found at this property. I was walking past here on my occasional morning walk and I noticed that the indoor plants were also the outdoor plants!!! It was quite amazing to see, and the homeowner obviously needed some help, so I knocked on the door and offered my services for free. Initially, nobody was home, so I knocked on the neighbour's door and ended up speaking to an elderly neighbour in another unit. He informed me that people actually do live there, and they are quite nice and neighbourly. Taking that into consideration, I decided to come back later that same day to see if I could catch them. Luckily for me, the second time around, they were home. After a bit of a conversation and me selling the whole free cleanup thing, the owner asked his wife, and we got the nod to go ahead. As you can see, it's in a bad state and I ended up putting in around 10 hours of work into this job, with 2 trips to the landfill. Q: Where are you located?
A: We are from Hobart, Tasmania, Australia 🦘🦘🦘.
Q: Do you worry about snakes?
A: I have never even seen a snake in over 4 years on the job.
Q: Which equipment do you use?
A: We use mostly STIHL power equipment (battery and petrol) and commercial Honda self-propelled mowers.
Q: How much do the jobs cost?
A: Sorry, I prefer not to talk about costs!
Q: What happened to Nick?
A: Nick was offered a full-time position at his other job as a Political admin!
Q: What happened to Brent?
A: Brent quit at the start of August 2022.
Q: Why don't you use tarps instead of cans?
A: Tarps are too difficult to move through small spaces and lift into the trailer. The same for wheelbarrows, they are only good for unloading the trailer!
Q: Why are the hot water cylinders outside?
A: I'm not really sure to be honest, maybe something to do with space & maintenance, but either way, it really is poor heat efficiency!
Q: Why are you cutting so close to your employee!
A: I'm not cutting too close to my workers, they are standing too close to where I am working! All of my workers have been told numerous times about standing too close to the tools and about the hazards involved!
Q: Why do your workers do all the lifting and carrying?
A: Basically, they are employed to carry things and I pay them well to do the job required.
Q: You work so well together, how do you do it?
A: That's the magic of editing. My workers are basically given instructions on what to do, I just edit it all out, so the videos look seamless!
Q: Why don't you have help?
A: I've had many problems with employees in the past, so now I work alone.
Q: Why don't you have a ride-on mower?
A: Well, there are a few reasons.
1. Currently, I don't do enough big jobs to justify spending 15k on a good ride on mower.
2. I don't have anywhere to store it.
3. A lot of the properties we do have fences and gates, so you can't actually get a ride-on in there.
4. I don't have the right trailer for a ride on, considering we always take the green waste away.
5. I will get one as soon as all of the above are solved.

I was intrigued by your technique of sawing through the overgrown weed beds. What a shock when I realized those weeds were completely over the concrete! You cut and pulled off such a large amount of sod there. Crazy transformation. Fantastic job 🎉

Yes, that pulling up the bed of ivy was amazing to see. When my son was about 10 i had him "help" me remove about 40 y ear old ivy from some of our trees. The trunks of it were as wide as my upper arm - that was up a tree trunk . Once it gets going on the ground it can take over.

Another amazing video, George. After watching your battles with ivy and other vines ... oh, man ... I will NEVER EVER plant the stuff in my yard. And look at all the damage it does to the house. I had no idea. As to your voiceover: I think it was perfect ... just the right amount of information to get us started. But I still enjoy your subtitles, too, when something comes up in the video itself that you feel you need to highlight. They are immediate "teaching aids" for your students!

George, this overgrown tiny yard is about enough to make me say, "I solemnly swear not to put oversized plants in a tiny yard." That you have developed enough experience and knowledge to sort through this is impressive. I just laughed when you found a second set of curved plant border, beneath the dirt, ivy, branches and whatnot...and then you find more of it. That is actually not a bad design but it was SO LOST. That was a pretty astounding accomplishment in recovery. Loved the Before and After contrast.

Wow George this transformation was night and day. Not only did it have the hallmarks of the edging, trimming, limb removal, ivy removal, mowing, etc… it had the next level transformation of power washing. Who knew there was a driveway hidden there and that it was way brighter of a surface. Thx!

Сколько смотрю видео на эту тему , наверное, единственный кто делает всю работу от начала до конца добросовестно. И газоны косит, и траву убирает, мусор убирает и вывозит, и кустарники удаляет, и кустарники стрижёт. Очень аккуратно работает. Ответственный человек. Обычно траву на газонокосилке сбреют и всё. Мусор оставляют. Вокруг обкосят, даже с места не сдвигают.
