This Place in History: Catamount Stadium

Catamount Speedway is one of Vermont's lost race tracks. Many famous local drivers raced here from 1965 to 1987, including Beaver Dragon who survived a spectacular crash shortly before the track closed. A historic marker now indicates the former location of the track.
This Place in History is produced in partnership by ABC 22 & FOX 44 (www.mychamplainvalley.com) and the Vermont Historical Society.
