Yes I do care about LBP, because LBP becomes the reason to embrace my creativity and give me so many memories of LBP 2 where I try other Publishers levels that make me want to comeback for more in the 2010s, so I very much pray for to see LBP 4 one day.

What’s sad was I used to play this game on my ps3 and got it on my ps4 soon after it had shut off online services, sadly.

Corporate abandonment is natural. There’s a pattern of being at the top of a food chain with the most resources and taking success for granted, and being completely out of touch with the more grounded aspects of our reality, such as creativity, curiosity, honesty, and self-consciousness. Forget about series being forgotten, I’m still waiting for sequels to Sleeping Dogs, Ryse Son of Rome, Mad Max, and Alice Madness Returns…

Did you ever play American McGee's Alice? It was at least a game before Madness Returns. EA basically pushed AM out of the games industry now so we sadly won't get that one.

@@justinsider7890 I do know of the first instalment but I couldn’t seem to launch the game from the file in the sequel on steam. I’ve been keeping track of the updates from the third game, Alice: Asylum, and I really hope that one day it becomes a reality to experience

LBP was a series that could’ve had just about as many sequels as they wanted to make and still make money, but Sony still f’d that up. I hate that it’s being abandoned like this

My first PS3 game was LBP2, my brother and I got a PS3 with Ratchet and clank and LBP2. I played this heavily until I got an xbox one and got a PS5 days before the hack happened on LBP3. I regret it so much but all you can do is talk about the memories

This was one of the biggest games of my childhood, I spent so much time of my life making stuff and playing with others on this. I made real friends online. I wanted to play this game with my kids down the line as it originally was so they could enjoy it, too. This brings me to tears, and I'm sick to death of this kind of thing happening.

I've never played the 3rd game, and played the second for maybe a half hour when it came out. But the original LBP was THE game for me and my PlayStation 3 until Skyrim came out. I have so many hours in this game, and finding out that Sony just doesn't have any love for this series has honestly been one of the most heart breaking things for me, in my time playing video games. The 2 things I've been asking for, for Christmas every year for the last 5 years are Neilson Golden Buds to be made again, and a remake of the original LBP.

I do remember playing the first one after the PSN hack and 2 after buying the PS Move. I would've thought the franchise would've stuck around for longer 😢😢😢

To be honest I played lbp1 as a kid, it was my favorite game until LBP 2 became my all time favorite in my childhood, seeing them will officially be lost in the media or delisted games like back to the future telltale in October 31st it says about how much PlayStation cares about LBP franchise and I hate it.

Great video Jay and it was funny that roasted Concord at the beginning of the video and it’s is sad that the Online Service of the Little big planet games are getting slut down and to answer both of you questions Jay even though I personally don’t want a LittleBigPlanet 4 I know a lot of people will like one and I didn’t play the littleBigPlanet games but my sister played The second one on the ps3 and the third one on the pe4

I played every single one of these games with most of my nostalgia going to 2 and 3, no disrespect to the first, and I have to say, of all the franchises sony is choosing to drop, by far I think this will cause them the biggest mess, because without it they lack an exclusive franchise based around creativity and imagination. This was their minecraft, granted to a much lesser degree.

Well if you looks PlayStation each gen: PS1: Crash and Spyro were the stars and image of the console, then Sony lost them for the PS2 era. PS2: Ratchet, Jak and Sly were the stars of that gen with various entries, then Jak was forgotten, Sly ended M.I.A. with the fourth game and Ratchet was the only who was saved in the PS3 era. PS3: Sackboy was the big star of that gen with various games and nice collabs with various franchises, then it was forgotten in the PS4 era until the Adventure game which it didn't lasted so much in popularity, now is dead. PS4: Believe or not but the character Knack was supposed to be the new star on that gen since it was the image of the Share Play tech demo but it was forgotten quickly and got just two games and that's it, mostly because all the attention got a little fella that is now the new and popular image of the PS5 called... PS5: Astro Bot.

You know I could get lbp3 and all the dlc but It does not feel a same without the stuff from lbp 1 and 2 and yes I was late with the unlocked the 1 and 2 and what worse I cannot access all the DLC on ps3 because I forgot to change my new email.

So other than the delisted stuff (a lot of Disney licenses didn't get renewed) I do know that a lot of the LBP 1/2/Karting stuff can still be bought on PS4 and PS5 listed under the DLC section for 3. Idk if every single item shows up, because I noticed a few more when I checked PS3, but a lot of that stuff would still be buyable rn if you wanted. In a few days it won't, but I do think a lot of it will be preserved through emulation or hacked consoles in the future too.
