This is why I’m so worried about the industry pushing so hard for digital. I have to drive for a long time to find any game store that isn’t GameStop and I make sure to buy my games from them when I can. I love these places. If gaming ever goes all digital I guess I’ll stop gaming.

At least you have some options, in Romania (Europe) there's like 3 and none are close to me. Plus they don't have that big of selection to chose from either.

I don't know you guys or this channel but MAN is Mystic Ryan the man!! All time best PlayStation channel on the internet and dare I say news aggregator at all. ReviewTechUSA and similar are just bitter rantscreamers that produce two videos a day. Ryan only does his Friday news and Tuesday curiosity videos, and extra videos when there's breaking news. That means it's all relevant and compressed, and confirmed news instead of "cOmfIRrmd!!!1" videos that are all just clickbait crap. 10/10 guy.

Yes, I believe the last Blockbuster here in Buffalo maybe was the one in Elmwood Ave. I remember going to Blockbuster and it had this particular smell (not nasty by the way) it was sort of magical.

I just bought NFS Heat last weekend! I also purchased Stray a couple weeks ago, haven’t played it yet though. Going through ps1 games at the moment. It’s certainly hard finding what you’re after in “the wild” but it’s great when you do. Love that feeling.

It is difficult to find stuff in the wild, but I check offer up daily for random crazy deals and go to my local retro shops once a week. I’m lucky enough that in Las Vegas there are 3 retro stores within 5 miles going one way where I live lol traded and extra 2DS I didn’t use and finally got a copy of wind waker for the GameCube cib yesterday!

Silent Hill franchise is expensive in general but The UK versions of Shattered Memories is a really interesting one as it was made around the time that we changed from film classification rating to the PEGI rating in we have now since 2012 so a limited quantity of the BBFC version was produced, while the PEGI version is around £150 the BBFC version is over £400 for a good version and £1,000 for a near mint or sealed copy and is ultra rare.

God, my copy of Blasto (only one I’d ever seen and it was so weird I had to pick it up without even knowing what the game was yet) is so damn funny 😂 Somebody was apparently only able to salvage the cover (ripped off the manual) which was also worn down and taped up, too. I think it was in a standard DVD case as well with “Blasto” written in sharpie on it XXD And then just the disc inside. WTF XDD

I don't know, but I bought Heavenly Sword at Oogie games for like $4 several weeks ago. I think that was a great deal. I also buy games at Heart of the game. I wish we had more stores like this. Remember Funcoland folks?

So I live in Charlotte, NC now, but I'm from Western New York, and Heart of the Game is like 5 minutes away from the last apartment we lived in before we moved south. Whenever I come back to visit family, I make sure to stop here because they are really the only decent option (outside of the wholly depressing experience that is Oogie Games). They don't have the hugest selection, since they have a mix of everything, but prices are always reasonable, and whenever I visit they always have unique stuff. Last time I was there, I picked up an Aqua Blue PS Vita at a reasonable price. They also have had a Game Boy Light (which I nearly bought), and a Seibu Lions Gameboy Pocket. I've never seen either of those anywhere else, except for Heart of the Game, which is pretty cool. If you are still in Buffalo, try to stop at Jim's Steak Out for food.

I haven't seen a store like that in so many years. I only see GameStop n it's sad most of the 1s around. Barely have anything. I truly think they r fronts cause u can clearly see ain't nobody going in a store with 1 copy of only new games n next to no used games😂.
