I use my Xbox One for movies and games every day. Digital games are great when you live abroad and have no options to buy certain games. As a bluray player, Xbox One is ok. Better as a digital movie / streaming device.

sigh i am so disappointed by this video , i honestly thought you'd do better and have critical thinking going into this because i respected you as someone who cares for gaming but instead we got a knee-jerk reaction like the rest , here's why : "The XBOX console itself is useless right?" no it isn't , 299 for Series S (its the only platform that is offering you a 299 console) and its a Gamepass machine , Series X plays select OG and 360 games upscaled from your discs while PS5 does not let you play your PS1 or PS2 games via disc even tho the functionality exists in its OS , Gamepass has over 400 games you can play on XBOX right now which also comes with EA Play and a lot of 360 games. this also exists with PS Plus minus the PC support. "i miss the special editions" i hoped you at least searched "XBOX Series X Special Editions" on Google before you made this video coz if you did half of your video wouldn't exist as you would know XBOX Series S and X had a lot of Special Editions going for them and its been only 4 years , hell they even made Spongebob and TMNT Special Editions , they even did the Deadpool and Wolverine special edition , there's even a COCA COLA special edition , and Halo Infinite and Starfield and Hellblade 2 among others .. they will 100% do a Gears Special Edition when E-Day comes out. "XBOX don't know what the hell they are anymore" yes they do , they've been telling you exactly what they are from the start. they are not quitting the hardware business at all , in fact the very first and last things they showed you in that "this is an XBOX" trailer was the actual consoles. what they are doing is looking ahead for the future so you , yes you the customer can get to play their games that you like anywhere you want , Microsoft is not losing sleep over this , they are going to get money regardless of where you buy their games (and through acquistions they already have so many of their games on multiple platforms its not even a new concept) and most of their advertisement was about Mobile , Cloud gaming and PC. they haven't liked exclusives ever since XBOX ONE started and they put their games on PC , they've been third party for a long time and that is okay. which is what Sony is doing right now as well by having their games on PC. Sony also added Cloud Gaming to PS Portal now , so you don't even need the console. "XBOX is going the way of SEGA" nope , two different companies , we're acting like XBOX is on some massive decline with stocks going down the drain even tho Microsoft has a market cap or net worth of $3.10 trillion as of November 22, 2024. that's not a company that is going the way of SEGA.
