So what's the approach to fighting against the cpu? Because fighting a person online is a completely different experience than fighting against the cpu offline. Seems to me like no matter the fighter, the cpu always has God tier defensive skills and they never lose much stamina over the course of the fight. The cpu literally blocks or evades pretty much everything you throw at them on anything above amateur difficulty. Nobody making videos on KZbin ever talks about the AI in this game. It's just always all about fighting other people online.

That’s why nobody bothers w it. It’s more fun beating another person than an ai that blocks and dodges everything

I don’t know man I’ve had no issue playing the computer. They force you to take your time and pick your shots literally how you should play the game all the time.

First thing: Try 1-2 punchs. First on body second on head. AI always block your first punch but second or maybe third will land. (If you alternate head and body) And, use your first punch to bait and then when AI tries to counter you land. (Lean back after your firts bait punch) Basicaly: 1-2 (1body-2head or 1head-2body) And counter punchs. (That works against some real players, but specially against AI)

From my experience, patience is key. Foot movement and level changes would help both of you.

I use the check hook as a pivot, to try create angles. That's what I do. I just wandered what others do

Circle your opponent instead of moving back and forth. Moving around throws you off the center line, giving you a counter window. That’s just one way🤷🏽👍🏽
