This Point Tank Ash Build is CRAZY! - Paladins Stream Highlight

Welcome back to another video! This is a stream highlight where I played Ash to try and complete this week's shielding Trial of the Realm! I used her classic Fortress Breaker build for unlimited shielding, and with a fantastic healer behind me and great supportive dps, I was able to hold the point with ease! This build is a really fun way to play Ash, especially if you're forced to solo tank!

Earlier I actually had an ash charge me as khan on that map with the spinning blades near the point. She was hoping to push me into them but I just grabbed her and threw her in. I felt BA and learned that khan has priority with his move.

that seige sheild cooldown card is redundant with ramparts. instead use the heal card for knockback on four with 40% lifesteal. even more mad sustain!

What do you think about slug shot ash? That is my favourite playstyle being that not only do you get a nice range but there is no dmg dropoff unlike any other of her talents

I'm just a random viewer, but in my honest opinion, Slug Shot is Ash's worst Talent out of the three options. Sure, you get more range and there's no fall-off, but you lose a couple of other surprisingly useful aspects from her primary fire in exchange - You can't "poke" around corners with the shrapnel's area damage to catch low-health opponents trying to escape, and her Indomitable (lifesteal) card applies for each enemy hit, and you can hit several enemies per shot depending on their grouping, so Slug Shot also kinda inadvertently nerfs her self-sustain with being able to only hit one enemy per shot, regardless of grouping.

Yeah, I have to agree with gamexpert1990 on this one. Summarized my opinion on Slug Shot perfectly. If you want to point tank, go Fortress Breaker, and if you want to off tank, Battering Ram will give you better survivability while maintaining all the benefits of her explosive rounds while getting you close enough so that her short range no longer matters.

Slug Shot is the funnier of all the talents but it's true that it makes you lose some very good features...unless your team has no good counters for Drogoz, I've fond memories of many of those games

I main Ash in ranked and yes, Slug Shot is her worst talent. It's far from useless though, I still use it occasionally on big open maps like Splitstone, Fishmarket and Timber mill. You can use it to counter long range dps by spamming them from anywhere on the map, it's extemely useful

Yes. I’ve gotten over 400 health a couple times in ranked when people are heavy grouping up
