ORAS were actually peak remakes. They stayed somewhat true to the original games, which were already good, and added more content, but more importantly wasn't afraid to make a different experience.

What do they mean “had to summon it” isn’t rayquaza’s entire job to protect earth from celestial objects? I mean it obviously sucks at this job considering clefairys, solrock, lunatone, elgeeyum, gothita (maybe), eternatus, staryu, etc have all come to earth.

Ye but like Groudon and Kyogre they don't come out till something or someone gets their attention, like Groudon with the blue orb and Kyogre with the red orb for Rayquaza its the person

@@dharrison6504 same reason with team magma and aqua, magma use blue orb on Groudon making it attack instead of being calm, but with red orb it just turns primal and doesn't go on rampaging. Team aqua use red orb on Kyogre, same thing and with blue orb it turns primal and doesn't go rampaging. For Rayquaza literally same thing, it comes out from 4 mega stones but it doesn't do its job nor obey because of the wrong stones, but then it does its job and obey using the meteorite mega stone. So basically the stones summon the weather trio because of its aura and presence, it still doesn't mean all stones work the same

Technically it is a secret ending to the remake version, if you wanted rayquaza in the original you'd have to play emerald and I don't believe deoxys was available unless via mystery gift correct me if I'm wrong. And i guess calling it a secret ending is a bit untrue, more like a secret episode since they do call this the "delta episode". So a secret episode that's not so secret but still pretty cool.
