Witness men at work... Americans, this is what people do who do not complain. Always busy, always making things better, making friends, learning, teaching... And when that's all done... They go fishing
@cross_fire_4 жыл бұрын
Amen, brother! It's a big difference in the generations and one reason I really hope Mike Rowe has much success with his group teaching the younger generation you can provide and feel more accomplished learning a trade rather than going to college for a useless degree. One has perspective and one constantly complains. If we all acted like Richard the world would be a better place, he's a good guy.

Unfortunately theres very few left. The construction industry is 90% illegal labor now. The construction industry used to provide a good blue collar standard of living for a many an american.

@@bidenhasdementia8657 this isnwyhy we have to stop this American lifestyle of entitlement. We are okay with everything being made outside of the country. We need real American Made. We do not teach kids to go into trade... My brother in law is a plumber and he brought his son into it. We need more like this.

@@jaimeastin agreed. It's one thing to lose your livelihood to outsourcing like we lost our cotton and textile industry in the 90's. It's another thing entirely to lose your livelihood in your own community to cheap illegal labor. Evil IMO.

Layin pipe for 24 years here in Ohio. Tradesmen are what makes the country, literally. Thanks for the shout out and appreciation. We need people like you Richard to show the importance of the trades and get new young blood to teach our skills to. I see everyday crews of guys w no young apprentices who are willing to actually work for a living, it's sad. There will be a wake up call someday for a lack of skilled tradesman if we dont change how most people look at the trades.

Thank you for all the awsome content you give us to have fishin time together. Him and I wont get to fish together this year due to travelling difficulties with his health but your videos help to make it easier. Hopefully next summer we will get to make up for him not getting to be here this summer. I'm hoping I will be able to buy us a boat so that we can fish every day he is here next year. He wants me to take him out to fish big bridge columns like we have watched in your videos. Thank you for doing what you do. I now have a new saying that I have put together from your slogan. I think it's funny I hope you do too. " And remember go fishing with your kids when you can, cause you never know when their momma is gonna leave you for another man" lol I hope you get a laugh out of that
