Just in case I'm not the only one wondering what the name of this TV series is, I thought I'd share the name of this TV series. The name of this TV series is Echo (2023-2024) The Marvel character Echo, also known as Maya Lopez, appears in the Disney+ series Hawkeye (2021) and its spin-off, Echo (2023-2024). Alaqua Cox plays Maya Lopez, who is deaf and amputee, and the leader of the Tracksuit Mafia, a gang previously run by her father. In the comics, Maya first appeared in Daredevil (1998) #9 Maya Lopez, also known as Echo, is a Marvel character who fights the Kingpin in the Disney+ series Echo. Maya is a deaf assassin and the first Native American hero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). She also has a vendetta against Hawkeye, who killed her father, and has great fight choreography.

I couldn't tell if this was supposed to be the origin story of a superhero(ine) or a super villain. The whole part of Maya turning on Kingpin because he orchestrated her father's death, seemed very unclear. Really, after Hawkeye mentioned it, it did not seem like it ever came up again. It was just, "gotta kill Kingpin" here and there; but in the end she just walked away?... wtf? And something was off about the Native American elements of the show. It almost seemed contrived or something -- I am not sure.

The whole story is in one of the Hawkeye story. She didn't just kill kingpin, there was a whole fight between Hawkeye,Maya,another young arrow girl vs kingpin. They just showed a short version in echo to continue the story of Maya. But I won't recommend you to watch that Hawkeye film as the young arrow girl's character ( they wanted to make her character as a angsty teen but made her arrogant and stupid)is so bloody annoying and not enjoyable at all.

Do you think Europeans weren’t here and trading in the 1800’s? Like the Declaration of Independence didn’t get signed before that? The lighthorsemen was a real thing from 1820 to 1906. Five different tribes used lighthorsemen including Choctaw, Cherokee, Creek, Chickasaw, and Seminole. So that’s not really “woke crap” so much as just utilizing actual historical elements in story telling.
