Been running this for 2 months. Great addition, but only if you have a big screen setup.

Gorgeous, but far too expensive for my budget. My old iPad will have to do.

You guys should make a video about the 5 best things and 5 worst things about 2000s racing games. I just think that the 2000s were the golden times for racing games because they have more cars, more content, and better soundtrack. Also, Do a Video about the 5 best things and 5 worst things about the 2010s racing games. Please make these videos !!!

I guess i finally found the perfect screen for me to mount in front of my VR-Rig, so i can manage Discord & race-server during our events :D Or Joe could mount it 90°deg tilted next to his rig to display chat messages 🙃

Love the Device HOWEVER. The Profit Margin on this Device is Mind-blowing The Actual Tech I side the device is basic. And it's Actual Cost to Build Vs Consumer Price is huge. Prob Cost $50 bucks per device to make but cost $600 bucks to buy. Just use and Smartphone with Simhub!

You can get a nextion for about 43$ and build your own. Size is way smaller, there is no controller/leds, the housing will be out of PLA and the quality of the screen is (imho) crap. I built one and never used it, tried the bigger version too and didn’t. For a solid implementation to get even close to the quality, you would need a usbd480 or vocore, and these are by themselves more expensive than your 50$ tag.

@@Leo2dr I misspoke about $50. However on Boosted Media Site he opened this device up and found the exact Hardware and Monitor (Different Power Supply) for 190 AU. Which is only $130usd. So for this to sell for $600usd is a ripoff considering the Software isnt Proprietary. It's just simhub or whatever you wanna display. Boosted found the exact same device on AliExpress lol It's a rip off .

@@darwinLee81283 that 190 AUD is consumer pricing right? So brands that will build hundreds or thousands of these units will be paying much less than that. Maybe not as low as $50 like you first mentioned, but I don't think you were THAT far off. The profit margins on these must be absolutely massive.

@@DeltaInsanity Yep the Ali Express Retail for the exact same Display Parts (minus) the LED and Case is $190 AUS which is $130USD.. so that has Ali Express Sellers' profit margin built into that price. I Believe the GRID Porsche Dash is €599 euros which is like $650USD.. I can imagine since the Software isn't Proprietary (SimHub). Their Margin of Profit is Close to $500 or more per Unit. It's a No Buy for me The only thing I can justify is they prob factor in Porsche Licensing agreement into Retail price!

what happened to that Logitech software you could download to your android phone and get overlays from games? I remember using this in iRacing, so I had like gear indicator and revs etc on an old tablet I had laying around.
