Can we petition to get Yasser to read chess books for publishing as audio books? Or just audio books in general? May be his second calling.

Речь идет о видеоролике kzbin.info/www/bejne/p3fNhoRves2hipI .

Yasser is by far the best Resident GM that lectures at CCSCSL! I watch every one of his lectures. I just hope we get to see more of him in future! Thank you, Yasser!

Some criticize GM Seirawan as being condescending with regard to his lecture style. I appreciate his efforts to keep things simple and his lack of foreign accent, which this Southernor greatly appreciates. Trying to "translate" a thick European accent into English is a laborious process for a Texan.

@@LarryRickenbacker - laborious process hearing foreign accent... Suspicious chess player. (GM Finegold). PS: Yasser is the best

Any chance you can move the St Louis Chess Club logo to the bottom left of the screen? The bottom right puts it directly over the H1 square. It fits perfectly and unfortunately looks like a piece is on it which makes it distracting. Great lecture though!

@ 22:22, when you asked what white's move is... I also found Rxg4, pxg4; but then, Bd3+! and black's queen is doomed ...Kg8, Bc4! The knight cannot block because the rook supports. Sorry I just like it more!

Epic swindle by Grischuk! Whilst the final position was drawish, Grischuk dodged at least 2 winning moves earlier on. Aronian would have had a won position by queenside castling (0-0-0!!) or winning Grischuk's light bishop (Qxc8+!!).
@exquisitecorpse49176 жыл бұрын
That position is even!?!?! I knew there was something squirrely about a Saemisch that transposes into a Benoni!

Wild tactics! They should have kept playing with 18 pieces on the board regardless the even evaluation by the engine, in my ultra-humble opinion.
