My prismatic build during the legend campaign was basically this and liar's handshake, (apart from ad-sparse encounters where lucky pants or celestial swaps made things safer and/or faster at range). Duskfield is nice for dark transcendence energy and freezing combatants more quickly. There are artifact mods which buff melee damage while you have woven mail, frost armor, or void overshield, and while transcendent, too, (bottom 2 of 5th column paired with the bottom 3 in the 4th column; defeating weakened targets should grant void overshield using stylish executioner, making that interaction possible while not using silkstrike, silence and squall, or deadfall paired with facet of purpose). Frozen enemies take additional melee damage, (120%). This also synergizes with facet of ruin to increase shatter damage and size. At one point, I was dealing 441k against red bars in legend campaign, and that's still not the highest it can go.

In regards to the grapple grenade pick, it does effect the liars melee and caliban's. Liars can have cross counter prepped off a grapple melee and Caliban's ignitions are just activated from it. i think it is personal preference, but i would say its def worth the pick.

Combination blow also buffs grapple melee by about 25% at max stacks. Goes from two hits of 11k at 0 stacks to two hits of 14k with 3 stacks. I still wouldn't use this for strictly damage purposes though.

@@Zed-1213 have you seen the grapple melee synthoceps build yet?...it hit's harder than pre-nerf titan grapple melee spam...watched buddy one phase first warlords boss yesterday...requires the exotic strand trace rifle to make a grapple point...when the stars align it hits for over 1m with one grapple melee/1-2 punch combo

@@Beast-mf7br I figured that would become a build tbh. It's ideal for some boss fights, but not necessary for day-to-day gameplay. Way easier to punch dodge punch lol.

more copies of heavy handed reduced the orb generation cooldown, 1/2/3 copies is 10/5/1 second, pretty much always want to run 3 copies with these builds

@@IanEvolution takes quite a bit of setup for that to happen...the stars need to align...combo blow x3/stylish/tractor or tether debuff/prismatic/artifact melee mods proc'd/frozen target/ANDDD cross-counter proc'd (while invis)...doesn't happen often enough to get nerfed imo...could see them doing something about either still hunt or the spirit of syntho grapple-melee shenanigans...looks like we might get a full season out of it though at least

Yo you forgot about the extra dmg you get if you freeze a target. Even tho you cant freeze a boss the dmg seems to be higher if its frozen rather then slowed

120% extra i believe + whatever extra from the artifact/fragments (facet of ruin)

I will pay someone for a caliban drop I have an inmost light/liar roll that I really like. And galanor/gyrfalcon that's super fun. But I really want a caliban roll

Liars is better when not surrounded and have a higher dmg buff cross counter does 200% extra dmg but its every other hit

One-two punch stacks better with Synthoceps though, (only +80% when using liar's). But like you said, only when surrounded. It'd be best to get one Liar's and one Synthoceps.

@@Zed-1213 ...that's why you only 1-2p if your first 2 melee's don't kill your target with liars (basically on a boss or a champ if you didn't freeze it first) you can get some huge chunks on bosses using tether if an ad dies from the shotgun blast and makes you invis while cross-counter is proc'd (800k+)
