Ever since you posted your Mataiodoxia build video, I've been preaching it like a maniac, because with that build alone, you can stun 2 types champions with only arcane needles(barrier and unstop), and overload can be either taken care of by AR or voltshot from Indebted Kindness. One of my first drops was inmost/star eater. As a warlock main, my build has been all about nova spam: devour/helion, nova, dive, needle, vortex. Facet of: awakening, courage, dawn, hope, dominance. The loop is always dive -> needle -> vortex -> nova it just pumps out so much damage all the time

I’d love to see this build, even just a screenshot of it as I have that roll, it’s probably the best I’ve managed to get on warlock but I’ve been struggling to make the inmost light part work well and struggle for orbs from time to time

@@w1zz0k12 no problem! just remember, this isn't pre nerf HOIL, you won't be getting your abilities back immediately every time. It's to augment every fight you get into, the point is to start with the loop and use your abilities for each fight to keep orbs up for hard hitting nova bombs

I've been running a version of this with necrotic/claw for a while now and it really does feel great. It feels so good that it brings to light how bad grenade builds feel on prismatic warlock atm. The lack of both good grenades and aspects that improve them (chaos accelerant, touch of flame, etc...) really makes it hard to warrant putting a build together.

Warlocks have the best grenades on prismatic and it’s not close. Vortex is the best void grenade on the game, maybe the best grenade period, and storm grenades are top 3 grenades

@@Zarrakon I would agree that vortex is pretty good but without chaos accelerant it feels really limp to me. Void grenades also have the downside of how damage over time effects stack in destiny. I would personally put fusions with touch higher then vortex for their heavier hitting single target damage, but I respect the add clear of vortex. Storm grenades on prismatic are like fine but also feel the pain of not having spark of magnitude. My issue is that there is just a lack of support for grenade builds on prismatic.

I dig it! A water downed ver. Of this build ive been using is Monte carlo+ osiomancy. Strand melee for the the 3 charges Cold snap gernade. Similar fragments , except im using the lightning surge aspect. Regardless of artifact perks, this build 1.Covers all champions withough the need to put yourself as risk just through abilities. 2. Constinent ability uptime without the nessacarily to have a kill ( coldsnaps just need a hit , devour is a saftey net) 3. Opens up the use of any energy and heavy you'd want to use. 4. Super charges monte carlo ( getting a kill from lightning surge gives you radiant + 5x ) 5. When transcedent , you'll feel like youre in a super zip zap and zooming with lightning surges over and over. Although, im willing to bet if you had a class item ( specifically syntho+ inmost) this build will be even better.

I've ran the hoil + syntho class item pre act 3 with an arc meelee build and it is pretty amazing, but i went back to Felwinter's, because the weaken effect is just too good.

I agree. I think there are a handful for Warlock exotics that are just so good that the class items feel watered down just for the benefit of having two perks, so they don’t make as much sense. Speaker, Osmio, Getaway are all just so good that it’s not worth switching off. I can see the Star Eaters combos as having some utility for Nova, but that’s it really unless you’re just bored. lol

I have another version of this build using a call or sometimes Euphony and call of awakening and threading grenades. Still charges dark meter, I suppose any strand primary would work especially with hatchling!

I'm lucky enough to have this class item in my vault, excited to try it! I love builds like this that change up the core gameplay loop a bit, "incinerator snap spam" sounds fun as hell haha. I feel like having a Darkness heavy could be useful in filling out the Darkness transcendence bar, since relying on coldsnaps and a kinetic weapon is a little dicey IMO......would also open up using Song of Flame for even more snap spam. Maybe a Cataphract? Or Pro Memoria? I feel like theres not a whole lot of good options for Darkness heavies haha

PSA: if you can get T10 Resil and T10 discipline, just aim for T7 Recov and put a font of restoration mod on your class item. This effectively gives you triple 100 as you basically always have armor charge. I do not find that any of the class item mods are really worth using because I don’t spam class abilities which means low uptime.

Strange enough, I enjoy Prismatic on my Hunter and prior to the new act 3 slots I love using arc on Hunter. It’s certainly not the best for end game content but it’s just fun to have ascension flow state and be a walking light bulb

Nice build dude. One question. What realistically is the purpose of Heal Clip? Generally speaking with this build you'll have Devour up all the time. So getting a kill in order to proc heal clip would already have fully healed you no? I think personally for me I might use Indebted Kindness, especially with the arc blinding artefact perk atm. Or craft Aberrant Action with something else in the third column like Ambitious, Beacon Rounds or one of the ability regens like Strategist or Pugilist

Add a Strand Kinetic or heavy with Artifact perks and shoot Tangles, they do more damage and explode. 21% is decent as a heavy too, new Arc synergy makes it Thunderlord but with much more ammo. ✌

My thing is this. I always question when someone includes special finisher in a build where they are also running a surge mod being surge causes charges to decay and you need 3 charges to special finish so your chances of being able to get a special finisher are much less. Sure you just have to time it and pay attention and use a finisher before you decay but i usually find tomgo one way or another, if im concerned about running special finisher its because i am maining a special weapon in which im not going to surge it because if its in a gm then its probably overcharged anyway because in the case if rocket sidearm if theres unstoppables its boosted. In this build here if im surging kinectic for khovostov then im planning as maining that and what the uptime there and wouldnt concern myself with special finisher since the sidearm is just a supplement to the build and i would run reaper

in u arms armor i would switsh 1 of the heavy handed for focusing strike power melee dmg gives class abilety energy and in the helmet armor cunsider dynamo using class abilety near enemy gives super energy cuz i saw u use it multiple times near enemy and in the leg armor i would at least use 1 absolution i know it takes 3 energy but picking up orbs reduses all abileties in stead of just 1 and in artifackt i would cunsider press the advantage in colum 3 breaking a shield increases wapon stabilety handeling and reloud specialy when using khvostov and solar fulmination is almost useles for warlock the solar power melee wount do inof scorge stacks to ignite

Osmiomancy + Claw can also suffice in a pinch if you don't have the mega-uber-godroll available. Well placed coldsnaps are fully refunded instantly.

I can’t be the only one who thought when they previewed the exotic class item attunement that the selected exotic perk would be a 100% drop chance, right? Right?? RIGHT?? When he talked about that he assumes that it could be a 60% drop rate increase of the exotic perk akin to the Onslaught attunement, fear hit me that it maybe could be like that…..

I've been running a prismatic focus build using Khvostov for a while, and it's amazing. But I don't honestly feel like inmost is very helpful and I stopped using it on every character unless I don't have something better and now use necrotic with needle on warlock, which with every poison tick gives darkness energy. Got 2/3 bonds for my warlock necrotic/harmony, osmiomancy/verity and now just hoping for necro/stareater 🙏

For Prismatic Warlocks: # Inmost + Harmony with solar super | best of the best, covers all contents except “raid boss DPS” phases ## Inmost + stareater with Void super covers any boss DPS ### assassin/inmost/necrotic + synthoceps a really fun melee build, but depends on your skill level and setup in harder contents. #### ophidian + claw best for PvP Haven’t tested filaments + starfire yet but they say it’s fun.

I made a filament starfire build as you they both require empowering rift and does not require ability final blow to get devour and gives you an extra aspect and fragment slot i recomend it

Choosing an exotic class item that requires only one perk does make it easier to obtain. On another note, I haven't had much luck with drop rate since the change, not sure if Bungie have cocked it up again.

It's probably because you have another anti-champion mod that's conflicting with that. For example, if you have Overload Auto Rifle your Khvostov can't pierce barriers if you're Radiant
