Yay another "Day in the Life" on Coffee with the Crockers! Glad you got the chance to take another look at a different silo to help you get your bearings on on this next task. Hubby says gitcha a "compass" to help get and conquer those curves. I remember using one in school but couldn't even think about using one now. Good morning, kids! ❤ I agree with @David Jones-hl5om and @doryrodgers8752. Talk to the owners and get with their architect if they had one. Don't reinvent the wheel. You've already said it's the same size and floor plan that you want. Paying a few hundred, even a few thousand dollars on the blueprints , will save you buckets of money in the end. My title would be,"Can we have your blueprints, please?" That nice deck cover would be nice for your back deck. Jason, you're only 39 on August 12th. I will be 69 four days before you. You're celebrating the 18th anniversary of your 21st birthday, that's all.😊

Hey guys, I love the uniqueness of the silo. If I hear you correctly without you actually saying it, you want the silo to be secure and to last? My concern would be that the wood deck wouldn't support the weight , especially after all the construction inside. I would want it on cement pads and columns under the anchor points of the silo. They could be added without removing the deck at a later date if needed, just my thoughts!
