Great review and demo. I have been working with the NDI version for the past couple of weeks. I was convinced that there was a way to get it to work using Visca-IP. Thanks for confirming that. Now if am able to control the camera through OBS, using the PTZOptics app. I can also control it with the PTZOptics tablet app and with the stream deck through Companion. This is a game changer. Can't wait to use it in my next implementation. Thanks for everything!!!!

I've been using an older version of the Avikans 20x camera. I think the image quality is really good. Since we run on a limited budget, I use a StreamDeck to control the camera, which works well. It's not as nice as a joystick, but it's much less expensive. One thing that is crucial to using Visca over IP is to make sure that the IP address of the camera is static and that this is set through the router and not the camera. I had some issues with control until I figured this out.

Hi Ajay. HDMI and SDI have the same video quality. Both move video and 8 audio tracks in sync. Some people will want to sell you HDMI cables at an extra cost or for gold connectors or extra for 4K signal. IMHO, this is not necessary. I always work with SDI as it is a professionnal cable: that's what they use in TV stations. SDI is a much more robust cable and has a connector that locks. SDI can run much longer cables without any problems. HDMI is a consumer cable. With longer cables, you're prone to run into problems. Also, if you have to pass your cables threw a wall and have to drill holes, SDI connector is just a little bigger than the actual cable, therefore a smaller hole will be necessary. As for NDI, I don't have much experience, but one will experience latency. And that's not good. Gilles

Ajay..... What type of camera who you suggest to use in office/bedroom..... Have yolobox pro and DJI wireless..... It will be bible study stream with laptop on HDMI 2 ....teacher on HDMI 1 chart stand on either USB or last HDMI

AJAY. Have you had any problem with the AVKANS 30X Camera, when it comes to stay focus? Or slow to focus on a subject when moved?

@@AJaytheCEO I have been using these camera for almost a year and now one of them started to slow to focus or blurry when moved with the joystick. I emailed Jenny numerous of times and finally David responded. He went over the entire software of the camera along with the technician did some upgrades and told me to try it again on Sunday.

Honestly no. I prefer up based ones with quick access camera buttons and preset and call buttons for positions
