Thought i would give it a go after listening to the missed apex podcast, which i have listened to from way back in the Judge days (think you’ve been there pretty much from the start). Anyway i have subscribed. Cant believe you’ve only got 1,395 views. Should be way more compared to some of the rubbish on KZbin.

congrats yes getting a good result in your own kart knowing that the hard work testing and setup changes you do on the kart made the kart quick feels so much better than arrive and drive in a hire kart where you cant change anything 1 of my best wins was at P.F in lincolnshire in my own prokart in a really competitive club championship against people with years of experience that threw money at new everything on their karts long story short the racing gods changed the weather with different conditions all day changing from wets to dry tyres 1 heat to the next we had qualifying then you start the next heat where you finished the last no random heats and i remember 1 heat changing the kart to a dry setup ( because i couldn't afford another set of wets ) and going out in the wet on dry tyres when most were still on wets the track slowly dried out and i made good progress putting me 3rd for the final and that final getting to the front and winning the final was the best feeling knowing that i had made the difference in kart setup ( no mechanic for me )mad last minute panic to change things in time i had what senna once said he had winning in brazil a drive where it was like a out of body experience driving the kart where i didnt have to think about my driving braking points or apexs racing lines etc it happened subconsciously 1 of my best wins ever ill never forget it. hopefully you forgive me for talking about myself but i hope you understand my point that having a good result where you have worked so hard to get it not only in driving skill but everything else to get the result makes the result so much better sense of achievement congrats again great result 👍
