my local community is dying. we are mostly players since day one that already have enough legendaries, only times we manage to gather some players for a meeting is when theres an interesting raid day.. niantic can save our community with shadow legendaries or primals / mega rayquaza raid days, but instead they do spreaded weekend raids or elite raids that are almost imposible to coordinate:(

This past Saturday I was lighting flares on campfire, as well as posting in 3 different local groups and couldn't raid a single shadow Raikou. The only successful one I've done was during Goomy day since people were already in the lobby, and I barely made it in. With summer and people taking vacations and stuff like Father's day, shadow raids are a complete fool's errand. Niantic is so out of touch and greedy.

@@IntelligentFlame yeah exactly this… didn’t manage at all… goomy community day I managed to be in the local park some active players and raids accomplished, but then the shadow raid happened at the end and non were there… lighted flares, you name it. Went in a d out of the lodge to have the raid showing active but o succes not a single trainer

I have a shiny 15-12-15 yveltal that was caught in 2022. Caught another shiny yveltal thats 15-10-10 when oblivion wing was released in 2023.

This has been the first time i have seriously raided a specific legendary, i managed to do 10 raids and left one shiny and one 15-14-14, so not the best overall but still, i only wanted the shiny to begin with. Either way this video was a huge help with building my team, and allowed me to get one of my favourite pokemon in bulk :) thank you very much!

As a side note, yveltal is going to be very useful for this year’s go fest. For example yveltal with oblivion wing will be great against buzzwole and a dark type move set will also be great against necrozma and it’s other forms especially the dawn wings form with it’s 4x weakness to dark type moves. just something I would like to share to help people for taking down necrozma, good luck getting the shiny.✨

Yveltal is my 2nd favorite legendary been trying to get a Hundo currently up to 265 raids and nothing yet, got enough XL candies to max out two of them so far though.

Bro said this would be a video about is it worth it. And did not even mention it’s not gonna have it’s best move Oblivion Wing. You need an elite TM which would be better used on something else.. so not worth it. It is not useful in raids as is. Unless you have weak Pokemon.

Why does ever content creator hype up yveltal in raids so much? If it isnt avail with oblivion wing it is not a good PVE option, as widely available non: legend, shadow, or legacy move flyers will do comperable damage. If you have Elite charge TMs to spare sure, it becomes a great flying type with oblivion wing, but shadow honchkrow and shadow starraptor(without gust) are doing comparable damage (all ~60% in a mega heracross raid) while admittedly they will have an extra 25% deaths, thats not really that big a deal as the overall output is similar and revives come cheap. Further gust shadow staraptor out damages it and elite fast tms are much easier to come by and have less competition for use. I get the trade value part but honestly i think people who care about shiny legendaries mostly raid for them and most people i meet look8ng for trades have more niche collections they care about like I have the kantodex all from 2016 i am working on because i transfered a bunch of my day one pokes for storage space when i started. I run yveltal because I dont like running 6 of the best possible pokes and like flavor in my teams, but i am certainly not excited to see it back in raids without its signature move

I hope someone invites me to join this Pokemon raid. I'm quite fond of Yveltal, and I often consider it to be a secret legendary bird akin to Moltres, Zapdos, Articuno, Lugia and Ho-Oh, a member of that family, sort of lost cousin, brother or sister perhaps.

Me and my husband also play and go to the local park. You can host a raid or join a raid and sometimes other people will enter. Sometimes we just send invites. We also join a party because party power together causes twice the damage.

I caught a 2156 15/15/14 IV Yveltal tonight from a reward encounter from PVP battle league. Very lucky on my part. Probably easier than defeating it in raids for solo players or early stage players.
