@@erraticgt Yea, bro was in the Ferrari 488 Challenge. I was in the Lexus GT3 And boy, lemme tell ya, it ain't pretty: Bro rammed into me in the first corner, he got a 1.00 penalty, then I got penalized after (1.30 penalty). Then he did it to me again after the turn, got disqualified

Is this a tweak to the Daytona tune, or is this a different tune?
@erraticgtАй бұрын
It's different. I would download his Sunset tune. keithdajones430
@keithdatSKRdriftАй бұрын
Yeah, different tune, my tunes are all hyper specific to the track they’re made for. “S Penn 42.999” I think? lol I forget because of how much I update them…. It may be “S Penn 43.146” which is my usual qually time with it. The naming convention for my tunes generally is; (Name of track)x(time possible with tune)
@reverendbogeyАй бұрын
@@keithdatSKRdrift Thanks! I change my tunes for each track as well since each one is so different. Appreciate the info!
@keithdatSKRdriftАй бұрын
Seeing that you’re getting loose occasionally under compression, perhaps with the line you drive you might benefit from moving your rear chamber .1 or .2 negative from where it is. Wish I could run it and dial it some to give you a definitive, but alas…

I'll give it a shot for sure

I might have to snag those other track numbers from Erratic. If your alright with that. I'm curious how your other tunes are for the ford. Only got the Daytona numbers right now.

@@CraigT9864 as far as my tunes go they are all slightly different, even for the same tracks. Like Daytona oval. All 3 cars have different tunes on them, but I can only speak for my tunes.
@keithdatSKRdriftАй бұрын
@@CraigT9864 not stupid, the Camaro sits lower allowing for the most handling. The mustang and Camry have identical numbers, but the Camry is tighter, the mustang looser. All in your preference for those two or what you’re trying to accomplish with your tune.
@keithdatSKRdriftАй бұрын
@@GrimmLegionGaming I responded to this, but looks like it disappeared, you can definitely grab the numbers from him. My S Penn tune is fast, but not OP. My “Indy 46.699” tune for the Camry at Indy is though… it only works on softs, but even with pitting twice I still beat 2nd by 15 seconds most races… It’s a knife-edge tune that is specifically for qualifying, AND ONLY WORKS ON SOFTS!!!!!!!! (lol) but is fun to run in race because it’s in a different class… I’ve ran 46.3 with it, 45.9 is possible with a bettter driver in draft. It’s loose in the heavier compression moments of t1, t3, and t4, you have to release 5-10% steering pressure just before these compression moments. Doing so will allow you to run the track flat-out in qually, and on lap 22 you can hold 194mph through t3 entering t4 dropping only to 190 exiting t4. Can’t find the numbers for this one in my phone, so you might be stuck to the download. The Strat is to pit lap 8 & 16, don’t try to run corners flat until lap 3/4 because of track rubber, don’t run flat on 8, 16, or 24 because tire wear. You can’t make corrections mid corner because as soon as traction breaks, it’s gone. Time out your passing to the exit of corners or the straights. Don’t draft through corners until lap 20. Antisquat is -50, so letting off makes the rear light… basically you have to commit before turn entry, then you’re along for the ride…. lol It’s a lot…. But 95% of tunes can’t catch even in draft, and only my race tune can hold faster in the corners.

@erraticgtАй бұрын
I don't know what you mean by technique. Just go flat out on tracks like this one. If you're on controller and want to steer more smoothly, just push your left thumbstick all the way forward and then turn it at a slight angle to the left by rolling it along the edge. If that doesn't make sense, stop by the live stream tomorrow and I'll show you on camera what I mean. Also, "Praise Dale" is a reference to Dale Earnhardt, Sr. A true legend of NASCAR.
