As a huge fan of Desiigner I can say that one of the problems was that when Desiigner went independent he didn't drop the Album "New English 2". This album was announced back in 2018, but its yet to be released. By 2021-22 the fans were really hoping for this album to drop but no word not even release date. I don’t know if I’d trust another rapper who is still pumping out hits. Signing to a label like that could guarantee the rapper squashes your entire career if they get jealous, mad, etc. I’m not saying Kanye is like that but anyone could be like that tbh.

Shame, seemed like a nice kid, but too many people get knee-deep into the industry before they even realize how it works or what it's about. It'll tear people up, especially younger dudes just putting their foot into the industry. On top of that, the only people who stay in the industry are exactly the opposite of ones you'd want bringing a new talent into things.
