As a Roblox dev I just wanted to say that it is a little annoying to not get payed the full amount, but (from what I’ve read) it is near the same as platforms like steam. It’s not as bad as people make it out to be, but it definitely would be nice to have a fairer split. It’s literally only 70/30 (favoring the developer) and (unlike steam) it’s free to publish a game.

Yes. It’s much easier to broadcast your game to a large audience, and you don’t have to pay for servers and such. It’s also free to make a game. Roblox only takes 30% of profits, 70 percent goes to you. It’s very in favor of the dev

despite the bad monetary split roblox is a great platform because it handles a lot of hard and complex things for you like datastores, servers etc, it is also very easy to get a lot of players quickly
