Honestly! I have the worst luck in the world with my apartment 😂 I’ll show them eventually, want to keep them a secret for a little longer ☺️ the landing is scary if your not used to it but it’s all good. As long as the pilots are happy to land then I trust them ☺️

Hi Sophie, are EK Perth layovers always just 24 hours? Sounds way too short to get over jet lag given the 10.5 hour flight and 4 hour time zone change. Last Monday there was a prescribed burn south of Perth (this is a pre planned burning of areas of bushland in preparation for summer) which caused a significant haze. So your rejected landing might have been due to visibility issues delaying aircraft in general. I laughed when you said you like Cotton On.

Sometimes rejected landings happen when the Pilot in Command isn't happy about the approach into an airport. So essentially they go around and have another crack.

I fail to understand why so many FA's choose to look so artificial. Seriously, I'm not singling anyone out; however, I've never seen anything like it. It's also very surprised the airlines don't step in. I actually dated an airline pilot who was so used to this, he constantly questioned if different things about me were real or fake! I'm not an FA, so his asking these questions gave me an added insight as to just how common this is. Shocking, actually. The takeaway is "Less is more."
