That era... He played as a midfielder, that is why he got the chance to do all those insane dribbles, stepovers and sprints! But as he got older he adjusted to a different position just so he could last longer playing, by longer i don't mean 90 minutes, i mean years. But i'm sure if he were to play in that position again, even at the age of 37, we would be seeing some of that again, of course not with as much speed and explosiveness, but still! Whoever seen him play from back then is a current Ronaldo fan i'm sure, that was how i became a fan of him xD P.S: The oponent players used to threaten to injure him if he did not stop doing that lmao because he was making them look stupid, he was literally toying with them, and the oposite fans also threatned him and would throw stuff at him. He was hated so much by all the oponents but was seen as a godlike creature by the Manchester United fans.
