I know thet's in Detroit, I believe in Brightmoor. It's so nice to see someone remodel a home with their own ideas instead of the same grey colored walls, horrible white/grey flooring. It looks really nice.

One of the only flipper shows on HGTV that lists the houses at reasonable prices. They do such a great jobs and almost all of their projects are affordable for buyers and for what I can tell doesn't cause a massive gentrification spike to the area. Had a great time in Phoenix buying these 1200 sf boxes, jacking them way up and putting in a first floor that is 4feer below grade with 9 foot head clearance and a huge central open area with a staircase. Usually the lower level had three bedrooms, two baths and everything else including the master with an ensuite and an extra powder room . Final squarefootage was usually 2700 and they sold here for 350 to 500k.

Actually 100% profit. If they had sold it for $45k they would have made no profit at all (0%). Doubling your money means you made a 100% profit. Whoever wrote the title has done 6 times $15k, the purchase price of the property, which makes no sense, and is still wrong as this would equate to a 500% profit as you can't count getting back what you spent in the first place as "profit".

Hi, May I make a cheeky question? I have watched loads of renovation shows, both in America and here in England. One thing I notice is whenever the workers start whacking down walls, they come across many problems like main drains etc. In America, do you not have blue print plans of all your houses? In England, you cannot sneeze without the local Council knowing about it - they are very strict, and each home comes with blue prints of not only the house but outside too, in case there are any access to drains and sewers that the home owner needs to be aware of. So if you want to concrete or pave over your front or back garden, tough, you have to make sure that the access points, like large square metal lids, (we call them manholes, no sexism intended) are accessible at all times. Thank you for your videos but, I too, wish they were longer!

If you watch this show regularly you notice many of the houses around the ones they renovate are abandoned and completely derelict. Many have obviously had squatters living in them. As more properties are fixed up and the quality of the neighborhood increases the prices they charge for each house gradually increases. There are some episodes of this show and others where they pay $5k for the house if it is in a really terrible area, I've even seen some other similar shows where the city will gift it for free on the condition it is renovated to a high standard.

1 bath is usually standard in these types of Detroit homes, you may get lucky and have plumbing for a half bath in the basement like someone else said here, but basement half baths don't typically add that much value overall from what I've found - I've had VERY good results adding a half bath in the upper bedroom of these bungalow style homes like this one though (usually no room for a shower/tub), it's costly for sure ($6-8k is what I typically spend), but a pleasant return on investment and always surprises buyers - Every bungalow I've added a "master suite" to has sold at full price or slightly above asking when I make that addition.

Wow, as a fellow artist, I just LOVE his attention to detail. And I love wood and the way he did those cabinets and cup area was just gorgeous ❤❤❤❤

I agree don’t be selfish we wanted to see more. They do such a fabulous job and it’s not fair when you don’t show all of Keith talents , come on now let’s do better next time.😊

Taste is subjective but there were alot of elements in the reno that didn't feel considered. Two flower planters sitting precariously on the entrance deck, the large purposeless bowl sitting on the dining table, the whicker basket on top of the fridge serving no purpose. The kitchen is the biggest crime, impractical surfaces that wont allow wiping down and an overly busy mix of ornate tiles and lines on the doors.

In addition to the rest of the reno, add a bathroom upstairs by slipping it in next to the closet and you have a great house. I think they could sell it for $135-$150,000

These two do such fun amazing renovations! Bargain Block, wish they did more. Saw them on Rock the Block, more modern, but sweet. I prefer their shabby to chic work.

I LOVE love Love what they did to the kitchen. They really had to in order to distract from how tight that stove/fridge space is. Too bad they couldn't have come up with a different placement. Wondering if a unit without the big handles would have been better. Anyway, I'm still drooling over the wood designs and considering it for my kitchen cabinet update. My cabinets are laminate, so if I add laminate strips, I can spray them with Fabuloso for easy cleaning.
