The odds of getting quads in a poker hand are 4,164-to-1. The odds of hitting quads on the flop are a minuscule 0.2 percent or 407 to 1. The odds of flopping quads is once every 3,333 hands so agreed.

He is super good. But the way that the Policeman didn't hesitate to call the all-in showed that he knew he was unbeatable. Based on the only pair that was showing, it could only be a quad or full house with top kicker. But the full house could have been matched by an identical hand resulting in a split pot. So a quad was the only possible solution. It took me 20 seconds to figure it out. It took Negreanu between the time the Policeman called, and when he showed his cards. I won't be caught dead playing Daniel!
