I totally concur with this review and final score! It is a great little beast I picked up off this pasts Temu cyber monday deal for 60$! I am a big neo geo fan and it rips through any and all games and runs Metal Slug better than original hardware lol!

I wish you would mention these in all your Videos: 1. Does it play Movies/Video/Music/Pictured whether via KODI or some other method. 2. Show Amiga and Commodore 64 games and whether it runs them. 3. Would this be compatible with someone in their 60s? I am concerned about the screen size, because it looks really tiny. My dad used to play lot of tetris, and he has normal sized phone and did a massive amount of Duolingo and other language games, he needs glassses for that, but he would do it for hours. Is it comparable to average phone? Or are the typical game details smaller then mobile apps?

This is smaller than an average phone, it's a 3.5" (diagonal) screen. However lots of those older games are pretty simple looking so it would probably be fine. If you're buying one for an older person with eye issues and want a nice big screen I'd recommend the RG405v.

It's much better than the Mini + or the 35xx since it can do N64 and ds and dreamcast. I think your partner would be happy with it.

It comes with thumbsticks, while other doesn’t. I saw some gamerladies on Tiktok accessorize their RGB20s thumbstick using Switch accessories, I’m totally sold.

I'd say the PowKiddy X28 would be the cheapest way, but I'd recommend the RP3+ instead because it's a nicer device. Anything that doesn't use at least a T618 chip won't give you full speed in 'all games'.

The x55 has the better processor, it can do psp, ds, n64, and dreamcast better.

Agreed. The x55 is still the ultimate device under $100 delivered, considering its screen size and relative power. In fact, the RG20S seems overpriced in light of the RK2023. Both are currently ~$75, yet the RK2023 is significantly more powerful (same as x55), with better screen quality and HDMI-out. But then, the Retroid Pocket 2S is the new price-performance leader if you can handle the smallish 3.5" 4:3 aspect screen. But nothing beats the cute-factor of the RG20S.

I always wondered what was up with this handheld. I have to agree, the dog sticker is probably the worst, I think small dogs are more more common in Asia so I think that is a corgi. I have never seen that breed IRL but I think that is what is is supposed to be.

Not really. You can, but the operating system is stored on the SD card, so you'll need to clone the contents to a new card first otherwise the device won't boot.

LOL. Yeah, that dongle is not convenient. Powkiddy has a preorder for an awesome handheld (RGB10MAX3 Pro) aaaaand it has no wifi. Wifi should be standard by now. The RGB10MAX3 Pro is going for $115, which is great. But I would be more inclined to buy it with wifi at $125.

Of those, the x55. But adding your phone to the mix complicates things because that's very likely the most powerful retro gaming device for many.

I brought this….but kind of regret it as I find it really uncomfortable to hold for long periods as it’s so so small so I have ordered the x17 always preferred horizontal displays on these devices and that has a nice 4.3 inch screen

Probably not. Usually these things come with English North American roms. You would have to find the ROMs that are in the language that you want. They are easy to find online, but that would be some extra work.
