This is exactly why I only relax in pools and I'm reluctant to swim in anything else that I can't see the bottom of. The worst thing to hear when out for a swim in a beach, river, lake, etc... is "oops..." as in some narrator forgot to include that species in their documentary or on the brochure.

That's why I am always warning and telling people not to go and jump into waters that they don't know anything about because death can be waiting for you the instant you do, snakes, crocodiles, bul sharks, germs, and all kinds of abominations that we know about can be waiting just to claim your soul, so take it from me Nemesis Prime, don't jump.

One really dangerous and painful creature you forgot to mention is the Candiru Catfish that lives in both the Amazon and the Orinoco tributary. It is a small catfish that usually attacks and feeds on the gills of other fish, eventually making those fish bleed to death, but they will also be attracted to the smell of ammonia that can come from the urethra of a human, dog or herd animal. They will burrow into the urethra and since they catfish and have a dorsal spine, they cannot pulled out. Genital surgery is the only way to go.

Ha! Yeah! I wanted to be a marine biologist from the third grade until I seen an episode of Jacque Cousteau in my senior year. Off they go in a small rubber raft to greet 5 whales. Cousteau said there are only 4 here, what happened to the 5th and the cameraman swung his camera down to the edge of the boat and waiting there was a HUGE eyeball! That freaked me out and I started to re-evaluate my passion for the ocean...then JAWS came out and that sealed the deal...I am now living in a land locked state, I live in fear of the deep! Gustav the Crocodile should be appreciated and not have sticks of dynomite thrown at him...shoo him to a very large fenced area and allow him to thrive,,,he's rare and should be fed Kolby beef, chicken wings and the insides of any large animal! NOOOO you bastard killed this fine beast..

Misinformation at the end of the video. Reason why those body’s are not burned is because that person committed suicide or it is woman who died while pregnant and the last reason sounds even more messed up is they had leprosy some reason they think it’s bad skin disease. I been to Ganga river for pilgrimage pooja dipped bathed but didn’t drink the water or washed my clothes but I didn’t die or get sick.

In anual outflow, the Nile River is one of the smallest of great rivers. It's discharge rate is 2,633 m3/s or (93,000 cu ft/s). That is dwarfed by the Amazon, as the Amazon has a discharge rate of: The Amazon River has an average discharge of about 215,000-230,000 m 3 /s (7,600,000-8,100,000 cu ft/s)-approximately 6,591-7,570 km 3 (1,581-1,816 cu mi) per year, greater than the next seven largest independent rivers combined. So get out of here with your other rivers having much to brag about when and where comparing rivers is concerned.
