To be honest, I've heard some tracks that Tim was harsh about, that I didn't agree with, but these beats are generic AF. They sound like royalty free beats, that would be used for someones vacation picture collage, or an Amazon advertisement video, for a coffee table. I've watched some of Oceans videos, and I've never heard him make anything that impressed me. He's regular, like a lot of KZbin beat makers. I think they get their heads swollen, because they have a bunch of kids who watch their videos, that jack their beats, but their beats sound like a million other beats. Some of the drums were okay, but those fake plugin flutes, and generic melodies, where boring. It seems that a lot of beat makers and producers just do their best emulation of other beats, instead of experimenting with new sounds and ideas. Tim was a big inspiration of mine when I was younger, due to him going left field with ideas. I don't really like a lot of his newer beats, but back in the day, he made tracks that nobody else would have thought of. I'm not sure why his newer beats don't have the same experimental elements that his old beats did, but he's still one of the legit GOAT's.
@HOLLASOUNDS Жыл бұрын
I totally agree and to add to what your saying I think that being a KZbinr and being a above average music producer is just not possible. There is no way someone can have the freedom and time to make fire music while also running a KZbin channel with all the production involved. That's why the majority of actual successful music producers who have hit records and come onto KZbin there videos are visually complete trash. This includes Timbos videos who either holds a phone in his hand and films or has one static cam with him in one location with bad lighting and a cheap CGI background. Weaver beats video editing quality is absolutely trash and He knows it but that's part of the comedy of his channel.
