With this general management one can expect getting alot of exposure about various difeerent business. So will this will be better for someone who wants to do a stratup or consulting will be better ?

It depends on your projects but ideally consulting is better because project turnaround time is faster. Here 6-12 months you can be working on the same projects

Since, 1955 (est. of TAS) --> their are very few TAS officers in the board position... leave becoming CEO. Mostly these roles are offered to HBS/Ivy college grad (you can verify).

Please search for Harish Bhat. He is our alumni. I am sure there would be many more and the reason you might not find many now is because people switch for better opportunities and in tata group you usually find long term employees getting into such positions (also same for other conglomerates)
