The first time I rode a rollercoaster was when I thought it was a “it’s a small world after all” train ride, I was lured by the Madagascar theme and info graphics, it was until I stopped and actually listened to what the screens told, and then I realized it was a rollercoaster, but it was too late to go back because apart from my phobia for speed, heights, dark spaces I was also very socially anxious so for my 8 year old brain: going towards the embodiment of all my fears was better than going to have to squeeze through a crowd of people and actually talk to them (by apologizing), but after that I am now a speed/adrenaline junkie who my friends are never going to allow to be behind the wheels ever again
