This Rs Cosworth Engine’d Ford Escort Mk1 Build Is CRAZY!

Full rebuild of this rally car Restore project! This time its the Alan Mann ford Rs 1600i rally car which we have just fitted with a high compression Cosworth Yb engine on weber carbs, this thing not only looks seriously cool but is also going to sound awesome in group 4 spec!
Also an amazing Lotus cortina replica with another rs cosworth engine and twin webber carbs.

Wow. Loving all this old school. Especially the mk1 cortina.my dad when I was a kid had a mk2 1600E cortina in dark red.never forget it. Stuck in my head.lol lol. I my self in my younger years had a nova 1.3 I think SR with twin 40s on it. Went like stink. Sounded awesome even had a cherry bomb exhaust lol lol. The good old days.

You'll get all the geometry back when you sort ride height won't you . Dropping that front 3 inches or so will turn positive camber to negative camber and give you the toe angles back so the rods aren't maxed out or am I mistaken.

That first cross member was a standard one with rs 2000 mounts replaced by a world cup cross member. You could strip the rear leaf springs down to single leafs as it would lower the ride height as lowering blocks can course axle tramp. The callipers look like austin princess ap"s?? As i have the same for my escort. You should get them to fit a z let to one.Keep them comming.
