The Beer is actually a quite good item, besides potentially improving your chances mid round. On the last 2 rounds the Beer is really helpful. If the last 2 shots are live rounds, you can use one beer and then shoot the Dealer so he can't shoot you aftewards. And if one shot if a live round and one isn't, you can use the Beer to 100% know if the last shot is a live round or not.

Yeah the dealer will always use every item it can in the order that it received them even if it makes no sense and is contradictory. After that it just flips a coin to determine who to shot, unless it's the final shot. Then it will know if it's a blank or live shot and act accordingly.

I watched this game the first time without commentary and i really recommend see this game and hear all the great soundtrack they made. I hoped insym would be a bit more atmospheric 😅 but i couldn't hear really anything from the game.

Somehow it's pretty funny how fast an indie game traveling around on all youtuber this shortly. But this is indeed a unique good game after all. Just it was amazing how lucky you was. xD Well as you noticed, one thing I have to blamemouthe: the AI of the Dealer is really ridicolous stupid, or seems he is running a random routine. When I was playing, one time for example there were 3 shells left, 1 blank and 2 live rounds. The blank I was shooting at the dealer and that logically meant I have screwed it since there were only the 2 live rounds left. But the dealer drank beer and ejected the first life round, and then he was shoting himself afterwards with the second live round - like "what the hell are you doing, are you braindead?!". (like you had in a similar way) This the developer totally need to improve.

Seems like the only thing the AI lacks is the real knowledge of how many blanks and live rounds there are. But man, he at least knows how to use his items in a logical manner when he actually checks what round there is. Played this myself several times with firends, and there he is really doing things so randomly sometimes. - but I slighty notice if you're stupid yourself like shooting yourself if there are no blanks left, he seems to even do more stupid things after that, too.

in the first round of the death round the dealer was getting rid of the amount of bullets left in the gun to minimize the damage since you were going to shoot him anyway he used the cigs early so he didnt waste time after doing it ai was quite smart ngl

Note for Insym: there is a Easter egg in phasmophobia on maple lodge where if you go into the building at the front on the desk there should be a book and at the very right of that book it has the name “Walter White” please tell psycho. How I found this: I was doing the challenge and used the monkey paw and almost died to the ghost and it was In that room and I saw a book on the desk and I was seeing if the ghost name I got was on there then I saw Walter white.

If you liked this game, you should play his other short horror games, all on the same website. A lot of them have a similar theme and are very good at atmosphere and putting pressure on the player. A lot of them take place in the same "universe" as well. A lot of people think this game takes place in the same universe as those others do because they all share the "rust aesthetic".

9:48 Doesn't using the beer improve probability? Because if it takes out the live, Insym can shoot himself, skip the dealer's turn, then shoot the dealer? If it skips the blank, there's a higher chance of shooting a live round. Although, skipping the live round ultimately gets back to 50/50, using the beer could help improve your probability. I think. In my opinion. Hehe

at 4:35 insym was kinda slow. he could've guaranteed 2 shocks off the dealer by taking the magnifying glass, if it was live (obv it was) he uses it on the dealer, if it was blank, shoots himself then uses the saw and shoots dealer. idk i thought that was obvious but i guess not.
