I can remember the older videos years ago with the RV wall and the excitement of reaching the goal for one. Sounds like the excitement period is over! Its amazing how much goes into maintaining one and all the problems it brings. Seems like repairing one is costly and difficult, might be time to move on to a newer RV. Seems like you put 1000s into it every time you move it! Could get a smaller one too.

YES! lol, to be honest, I still am SO excited about the fact that I own one, and every time I run out to it to grab something I left in there, it makes me excited to get back out on the road, but it just kills it so hard to always have these problems, and after putting SO much time and money into it, it would be a shame to get rid of it, so the decision to just keep fixing these things is like, well I already put this much into it I may as well keep going.. And the hard truth is that even the brand new ones are crap, they dont have checks and balances like new cars do, they just slap them together and push them out the door, and wont even honor warranties unless you sue them, it's insane.

@@RTSoutdoor Wow, the RV world isn't what it seems haha I do like how you don't just show the highs of ownership. We get to see all the bumps in the road and all the lows of owning an RV. And pretty soon everything is gonna be brand new on the RV! Maybe get into RV repair, seems like you'd be a millionaire haha

It's tough cause first of all, you put so much money into fixing and maintaining the one you have, that it almost seems like a waste to get rid of it after that, when you figure the end of the "big" problems has got to be near lol, and then the fact that it's like part of the family lol, hard to let go! I don't think we're quite ready to give this one up yet, but a newer one is definitely tempting!

I started watching your channel just before you bought Goliath and enjoyed the renovation videos and then all the traveling you did with Marion after you two got hitched… it was fun to watch your adventures. Then your channel changed and I was sad… but now I do enjoy watching you make improvements to your home but it still not as enjoyable as before. so frustrating man, I drained that thing for EVER, so I have no clue how it had any water left in it at all, but apparently it did. Good thing is that a new one really isn't all TOO expensive lol, still sucks, but at least it's one of the less costly repairs.
