Love the bunk layout, but not the color switch up. No eating place, no dovetails! Nails and staples for that price, i don't think so!!
@mylesrv9 күн бұрын
I hear you. The price is more so reflected in the construction of parts that have to do with structural integrity and efficiency than they are with cosmetics. Although, the cosmetics are better than most as well. But the price is definitely most reflected in things like the 3.25in thick walls, independent suspension, disk brakes, 8k axels, etc… Guess it goes to show that those things don’t always matter if the cosmetics aren’t perfected to match the price as well. But to put things in perspective, if you took a brand like Brinkley which I think is as close to cosmetically perfect as we have, and match all the additional stuff seen here, you have a well over $200k fifth wheel RV.

Love this layout so fun! The bunkroom is so different I would’ve loved to see the desk like a Murphy style bed that could fold up and give you more space in that room, overall such a great RV 😊

love this! could actually see living/traveling in this while working. I always thought a toy hauler would work so I could have a separate office space. This takes the place of that with that beautiful office/bunk room.

Something that cost this much money should not have Carpet in the slide, and it should certainly should not have vents in the floor.

Yess with the vents in the floor so the pipes won’t get frozen

@ are you saying that if the vents are in the floor, they won’t freeze?
@j.andrewwrinkle21729 күн бұрын
1000% agree!!
@mylesrv9 күн бұрын
@@STurbo5247 no, it’s saying that the ducting is running through the same cavity where the water pipes run, and the radiant heat from that ducting prevents water lines from freezing. When they don’t have that, they have to send the flexible hose ducting into the underbelly and force air into that space, which can be potentially less reliable since it’s difficult get under there and see to make sure it’s actually ducted correctly for air to make it into your cavity under the floor.

If they are going to try to have a 5th wheel with an MSRP of over $250,000 then they need a reality check on quality standards that we have come to expect, such as dove -tailed drawers, no floor vents, and brass fittings throughout the plumbing. Also, at this price point we shouldn't be able to see where they puttied over staples. DRV Mobile Suites used to be one of the top dogs, but they are going to have to step-up their game because Brinkley is blowing them out of the water on quality build.
@Elizzza789 күн бұрын
Vents on the floor have a big purpose for the winter & snowy weather so the pipes won’t get frozen
@kmclane129 күн бұрын
😮a lot of money, I could never afford that. Disappointed in some of the finishes , no dovetail on the drawers, like you said where you can see the nails under the puddy , no dedicated area for trash cans in bathroom or kitchen, needs more hanging in Master Bedroom, and only two single beds in addition bedroom, carpet in the slide. I’m saying this all based on the price. It’s pretty though. Blessings and Peace ✝️❤️

I think I would go for a Brinkley, for the money you would be paying for this one you could have a really nice one with a Brinkley, I really like the bunk room but I think quality in the Brinkley is so much better. I like dove tail in drawers not staples or nails. dove tail holds up so much better.
@mylesrv9 күн бұрын
@@joannepope5594 the biggest differences here that Brinkley does not do is the 3.25in thick walls, independent suspension, disk brakes, dishwasher, 15in. Frame, full body paint standard, molded fiberglass rear cap, dual pane insulated windows, and water manifold system. There may be even more I missed. Brinkley may have some of these things as options if you special order like full body paint, but some like the wall thickness and frame size cannot be changed in a Brinkley to match what this offers.

DRV knocked it out of the park with this floor plan, especially with that bunk room. I did not like having 3 different color cabinets. The coffee bar seemed a bit skimpy, it needs to be wider.

@scotttaylor72119 күн бұрын
The craftsmanship in a Brinkley is so much better for 1/2 the price. DRV is still using carpet and drawer construction is mediocre.
@mylesrv9 күн бұрын
@@scotttaylor7211 you listed off two things Brinkley does better, but failed to mention what Brinkley does worse. Brinkley does not have a 3.25in thick sidewall, an independent suspension, full body paint options expect for the model G, a molded rear fiberglass back cap, water manifold system, etc. DRV could make this more like a Brinkley, and if they did, while also maintaining all the things Brinkley doesn’t do, this becomes a $200k+ fifth wheel.
@axiomproductionsКүн бұрын
These things you mention that the Brinkley does not have, at the end of the day, will it make that much of a difference. I understand about the sidewalls but in reality, having a wall that works, thicker may be better but not necessary Those things you mentioned, can you explain why I would need to buy them and what makes having them necessary. My question being that why would I need to spend that kind of money when I can get something that gives me high-end features but does the job well?

If I went to look at this for this kind of money and got insignia electronics and appliances and a cheap build quality id simply just walk out and look at another brand this flat out garbage compared to others for less money, at this price I'm expecting luxury not basics, the TV alone should be at least a Samsung OLED TV and the appliances should be at least something like GE or hell even Samsung.
