Incredible work, as always! Before I knew about your channel, I didn't even think it was possible to do this almost “manually”. However, I was wondering why transplanting only the Flash Memory on a similar device is not enough? Is it always necessary to transplant also CPU, RAM, EEPROM and "pin code chip"? I can imagine all sort of Android security mechanisms, but does it really involve all of these ~5 chips? If anyone knows more about that :) Thanks!

Do you have a full set of Samsung & Huawei sandwich board stencils? If yes, where can I buy them? For the moment I was only able to find for iPhones

Does the "backup bin" trick work for verifying iphone nand as well?

No. That's not an option for iPhone NAND

I accidentally cut the lcd flex cable and now it wont even boot with or without the cable connected. Save me some hours of trying to figure out if i just fried the dang thing or if for some reason this phone just doesn't boot without the flex cable/display attached? I fear i already know the answer to this but if i did damage the borad, then what would be the most likely thing i fried and how much are we talking for the repair?

What's more difficult, iphone or samsung cpu reballs? Samsung underfills looks like it's easier to deal with from the vidoes.

very good job as always, I just want to mention that I used to use original jbc c210 soldering tips but when we scrape something with them/ drag it with desoldering wire/ clean underfill it tends to fail very quick, the front of the tip wears off and after that its almost unuseable. I have tried different brand soldering tips and the best one I found are Sunshine ones, the don't wear at all(i have used auxin/oss team/jbc/fake jbc clones/sunshine/and other chinese brands). I am using sunshine for over 2 months now and it is doing a great job and its not even that expensive.
@VCCBoardRepairsАй бұрын
Ah that's interesting. I'll see if i can find any sunshine tips & try those out!

@@VCCBoardRepairs i want to add that aswell I have some tricks that will help you in cpu soldering aswell, i mean you would never have to do 2nd time cpu reball because sometimes some pads do not stick of cpu in the board and you have to go all over again or the cpu floats with flux for no reason. if you want contact me and I will give you some of my tips that I have got from my personal exp. i know everybody is different and prefers different things but I just want to share you my tricks because you knever know you gonna love them or hate them. you have to give them a try atleast. thank you in adv,
