​@@dailydouble2286Crazy for something requiring so much work!!! You have to clean out the three cartridges every single load, that's absurd!!! Who is gonna pay all of that to then be required to put all that work in every wash!?! They also take awful long time to complete just one regular average load. I am not sure how electric bills are supposedly better when you have to run the thing for hours on end. I've even heard of people ending up with 30 hour loads, that's absolutely insane!!! I don't think that's this particular machine, to be fair. But the more I learn about these, the more I'm turned off. Especially when my portable GE has done phenomenal. Unfortunately I can't bring it with me when I move, it has to remain with the condo I'm selling. My new place requires combo's or just a washer, no dryers or vents. I will probably buy another GE portable which is on backorder, (I heard GE was bought out & not producing as good of stuff now but I hope this isn't the case), or I'll buy the best rated washer I can find that will fit the space I have, which isn't much. But these machines definitely are regression rather than progression.

Unless you’re buying a Bosch or speed queen they are all designed to fail between the 5-8 year mark with regular usage

What if I kept the detergent tray empty and just used tide pods. Will it keep telling me the tray is empty?

I would assume the pod coating would prevent the liquid from being pumped out of the tray. And that coating may also not resolve fast enough to prevent causing a blockage in the tubing

Too much!!! For the work it requires, and time it takes, WAY too much!!! I don't think people have money for this. It will become a novelty few people buy. Requiring I clean three cartridges after every load is where I draw the line. I won't pay thousands for an appliance that then is gonna zap my time & energies away from my life. You pay that kind of money to improve your quality of life, not worsen it. An who has 5 hours for a load!?! I'll hang dry or use my beautiful laundry room and just get. GE portable which I've loved or a regular washer that's highly rated and fits the space. Unfortunately I can't have a vented dryer in my new condo, but I really only use a dryer for blankets and towels, even those I can hang dry. These cost too much and are a hassle that never ends! I couldn't believe the work required for the GE one I think it is, with all that crazy lint that gets trapped in the coils, did they intentionally design these to fail and rip the hell off everyone!?! These aren't your standard run of the mill machine for $600. This is criminal if you ask me.
