Pretty crazy car, Im pretty sure there's stuff we left out too. Definitely has changed my mind about a front wheel drive hatchback, its all down to how its set up. Barely any torque steer! Big thanks to NVM for inviting me to check out their car.

This is DEFINITELY the loudest sounding car you've reviewed so far. All the other cars sound pretty loud but you can't really feel much of the aural experience. This, on the other hand, is so loud that I can't barely hear your voice! It's a proper beast

I'm way too old for a modded car but I have to say that I think this is a great looking car that sounds fantastic. The black, white and red colour scheme works well and the RS exhaust tailpipes are a nice finishing touch.

I got one and in glad its without the heavy sunroof. Milltek exhaust, forge intake, ITG airfilter goes like hell :)

Haha, the bloke who owns this 'mabz' lives in my area not too far from where I live, and I must say, the car looks 1000000 times better than when it had the red wheels. 423 bhp is a crazy number for a front wheel drive car.. Do you think it's possible to convert this car into an all wheel drive? Possibly a rear wheel drive? I reckon the car would've benefited from an all wheel drive system, especially with All that power going thorough it's front wheels.. Love the vids lad! I remember when I first started watching you.... I thought to myself, here is another wannabe car KZbinr who doesn't have what it takes. Turbo Tim lol. Ive seen IS38’s go up to 428hp with my own eyes with a decat downpipe, R600 Intake, Wagner Intercooler, NGK Racing spark plugs and software. Its possible in the european cars as they have 4more injectors than the US cars...

Rocking 380hp / 500nm in my Cupra 280 DSG with basicly just a remap and some exhaust and intake work. Very easy engine to get some proper power from!

I got the the 290 but stock its already struggling with grip. Nankang are no option since the fuel consumption goes up and in rain they are shit ofc. But mad probs to the guy driving a 400hp fwd even if it does not really makes sense

I hear in the video that there is a pressure relief valve and I would love to know what exactly is installed because I am thinking of putting one in mine as well. They talked to me about an outlet that there is one type for my car without the pipe.

Great video as always. That's a great buy & a killer hot hatch! The Scorpion Exhaust however is a bit too loud I think, would without doubt pick the Milltek Sport Exhaust over this anytime! Search 'Seat Leon 280 Milltek Sport Exhaust' on KZbin.

How does this compare to the 1 series mlite? Currently got an M135i but it's lacking a bit on back roads

I think you'd definitely find a cupra more dynamic in that regard, but you'd probably miss the power delivery and torque of the M135. I had my heart set on a Golf R, test drove a stage 1 R and it felt a bit dead imo. Went out in a 140 and haven't stopped thinking about it since, not even given the R another thought. Although the R and cupra have identical engines, I'd imagine the Cupra being a lot more fun and engaging to drive ( well, I hope so at least haha ). Best thing you can do is go out in one, it'll give you a better piece of mind. It really depends on your personal preference

Think you might have tested a diesel in the form of a Q7 but be good to look at Golf GTD plus the Leon and maybe even the new 1.5evo TSi Golf which looks a nice everyday car.
