Danny Karpa we have so many regulations that aren’t shared with Europe that the cost to import is ridiculous. It’s basically an artificial barrier to entry for foreign manufacturers so that Americans buy more GMs and FoMoCos. This results in budget brands (Peugeot, Renault, SEAT) pulling too narrow profit margins to be profitable in the US, so the only cars VW can afford to sell are the pricier Volkswagens and Audis.

Hi, wie siehst du das Fahrzeug im Vergleich zum Type R? Zumindest längsdynamisch ist das hier ja auch eine echte Ansage, und auch der Sound ist für die Klasse ab Werk echt gut gelungen würde ich sagen. Querdynamisch ist der Type R noch mal eine andere Liga nehme ich an, oder? Und wie gut ist die Handschaltung? Sieht ja auch recht gut und zügig zu schalten aus. Finde es nur ein bisschen schade, dass man dem Sondermodell nicht das Virtual Cockpit gegönnt hat, was man in der Serie quasi zeitlich eingeführt hat.

spider2MW Preis/Leistungstechnisch ist der Type R klar besser. Er hat mehr Leistung und setzt sie auch besser um. VW Turbo Motoren sind nicht so standhaft wie von Honda. Honda kitzelt nicht immer das maximale heraus somit hält der Honda auch länger bei sogar mehr Leistung. :)

Der Cupra hatte bei dem Test aber Semis drauf und der Type R Straßen/Sportreifen soweit ich weiß. Sollte man berücksichtigen. :) Und Haltbarkeit ist so ne Sache, gibt genug VWs mit deutlich mehr Leistung ab Werk, die auch standhaft sind. Kommt immer drauf an wie das Tuning gemacht ist. Aber Honda hat es schon mega drauf was Motoren angeht, keine Frage.

No. The león engine is a lot better than the polo gti engine. The polo gti has a newer, but weaker revision of this engine. The polo gti engine is more eco-friendly oriented. The leon engine is clearly more performance oriented.

Mit so nem Cupra kann man alles mögliche Jagen was teilweise deutlich besser Motorisiert ist, A45 Amg mit 360 PS fährt einem 100-200 nicht weg, Bmw M2 genauso, RS3 mit 367 PS ist der Unterschied 100-200 auch nur minimal :D also is manchmal echt lustig die verzeifelten Gesichter zu sehen wenn man einfach nicht kleiner wird im Rückspiegel

Ja, gemacht auf 400PS ist er natürlich schneller als ein 370PS M2. Aber mit Serie 300PS nicht. Bring den M2 auf 450PS und dann ist der BMW wieder schneller. Das ist doch müßig.
