There was a Granny square afghan on the TV show “Roseanne” on the couch all the time. That’s why it’s a keyword. I have sold afghans that weren’t in great shape as a craft item because crafters will take them apart and reuse the squares.

I did that very thing this past weekend and went to 2 out of town much bigger thrift stores Ive been excited to get to. The parking lots were packed. The goods were way over priced, dirty, out of date. I was challenging myself to find one thing to buy and there was nothing in either store. 😳 I don’t think Ive ever left a thrift store without buying one thing let alone two huge stores. My motto is always put stuff in the cart then decode before checkout!!

There’s a thrift store that I have gone to several times (I haven’t branched out yet) that I have also donated to and last time I went, well used tee shirts were priced at $8 - $10 !! How crazy is that? So I’ll be checking out other stores just to see their prices if nothing else.
