One of the reasons that it was such an iconic moment is because it was SogeKing. I’m surprised Luffy didn’t try recruit him… hopefully we’ll see Soge D. King again!

By far the most surprising thing to me about reading One Piece, for someone that that believed it would be a goofy story about beating up actual clowns, is that it made me cry uncontrollably at least once in every arc. From a dog defending the home of its dead owner all the way to burdens every hero of Wano carries, it is the most heart wrenching and heart warming story I've ever read.

In water 7 for the first time we got the feeling that everything is falling apart. There was just this constant despair. With Robin's backstory and burning of the flag, we finally found solid ground again. Every member stepped up to the plate, went above and beyond their capabilities to get a win. Even Merry got her moment

This moment in the dub still chills me, it's so damn good. I remember binging the show and getting to this point and just taking a beat to let it all sink in. Still one of the best scenes and overall arcs of the series.
