Former Geeksquad and Genius Bar employee here. I was able to install it, no dust or bubbles. But it was definitely the most difficult screen protector I’ve ever put on a phone. It just did not want to work with me at all and took 20 minutes just for me to tediously coax the bubbles out one by one. That being said, I bought it because I didn’t want scratches and it is easily the best I’ve ever seen at resisting scratches. I’m def buying one for my next phone.

Sapphire is more likely to shatter than gorilla glass. So enjoy your scratch resistant screen until then. Sapphire also weights roughly twice as much and isn't entirely clear so your display will be dimmer and foggier. There's a reason Apple decided not to use it.

I cracked my iPad screen without harming my glass screen protector 😅 It still works on and since the protector keeps the glass from separating you can barely notice it. So that’s why my 4 year old has an iPad Pro 😂

I remember trying to apply tempered glass screen protectors and I was just not able to get it on there without some little piece of dust somewhere. I ended up giving up and just living my life going through phones without screen protectors. They're not worth it imo

I learned doing it in either neat room or bathroom. Yes, those places have least dusts and I saw it from some tutorials.

Meanwhile, the "best" (and only) screen protector Samsung sells for my Galaxy S8... almost looks like the plastic you peel from your brand new phone Almost the same thickness Just a plastic film... 20/25 euros if I remember correctly, and for that price you get two of them. *OOF* I removed it a few weeks / months after, it was horrible.
