I will never forgive Kevin Costner for abandoning this series, and fast tracking its desperate end, boiled down to just a few episodes. I've fallen in love with this show and this world, and this series needed a much more respectful and methodical ending to this character as well as the show. My only hope is that we are not left with the bitterness of the GOT series final season.

@@tricksterfoxx There's a lot of blame to go around, but he was absolutely instrumental in the demise of the remaining season, and the series. His passion project Horizon was the catalyst for his lack of commitment to Yellowstone, and the movie was a mess in my opinion, and not worth pulling away from YS. He benefited greatly from the fans amassed from Yellowstone as they supported the film, but ultimately still feel betrayed for how the final season was rushed, without a proper fare well to the staple of the show. The responsibility for ending the show the right way, at the right time centered around him. I have faith that Taylor Sheridan will still produce something great, but everyone I know that watches the show religiously are definitely feeling the same way.

He killed his own father as well, but he always panics and gets too emotional. He really thought John killed himself because of him until Sarah told him otherwise. He's going to piss her off because he's probably not going to push the airport and will say something that it's too soon. Jamie will probably go down protecting the Dutton name, the ranch and Beth, he was after all raised a Dutton. Also the guilt will push him over the edge. Sarah thinks she has him it wouldn't surprise me if he doesn't get her himself. Not before Beth some how bankrupts that company.

The voice on the phone told him the time and cause of death of John. At the end of the episode when Kayce called the investigator, we heard him tell Kayce the exact same time and cause of death ..... Jamie was an active participant in John's murder.

If Kayce knew all the shit Jamie's done (murdering a woman with his bare hands AND killing his bio father to save his own ass), he would have turned on him a long time ago. Jamie doesn't love Kayce. He doesn't love anyone, because he's incapable of it. Kayce was shot when Jamie's father put hits on the family, and after Jamie found out he was responsible for that, he did nothing. Nature and nurture made Jamie who he is. There's nothing redeeming about him.

This is a projection from the lackluster actor turned phenomenal writer - yes, both can be a reality within the same paradigm. We know that Costner's role is the determining factor behind any continuance of YS. He's not present, and he waited for opportunities that did not present themselves, due to filming schedules, thus, he left to pursue his passion project. I dont care what anyone says about his loyalty to YS, because I can see the exploitation of Sheridan and he even wears it on his sleave in his acting performances. Costner is not the enemy here. I dont blame him for moving on with such ramifications. Judge for yourself, it honestly doesnt matter. Those who know Costner's history will see through this BS, those that dont, well, they know more than any of us, because Sheridan has hid behind this "Machismo" facade since he FAILED in Son's of Anarchy. He's see through like a blouse.

We were looking forward to the Yellowstone series return. How disappointing was this show? I could not believe the end for John Dutton was a setup suicide. How cheaply the ending was written for this character. They couldn't have written a worse ending for John Dutton. It is not even worth watching this show now.

I've read that it will not be available to stream on Paramount+ after it airs. Eventually, I'm sure it will be but not right now...which sucks for those of us who can't watch it live. :(

Nope, I’m not buying Kacey turning on Jamie. Unlike Beth or John, Kacey is smart. If Jamie can manage to convince Kasey that the hit wasn’t intended to actually happen or John wasn’t the intended target, Kacey can understand how it got to this point. Kacey knows far too much to just leave this all on Jamie. He knows how the family treated Jamie, he knows how John’s actions while raising them play a large part in this families broken dynamic. He knows, that even though him and John made up, John’s passed sins can’t be ignored. He knows Beth has had it out for Jamie for sometime now and wanted to kill him long before any of this happened. Unless the show just completely glosses over it, if Jamie can manage to explain to Kacey that Beth has been threatening to kill him for years, blackmailed him, and even threatened Jamie’s own kid, Kacey will understand. Beth says the dumbest things, “he will hurt us to save him”; well no shit Beth, you and John have made it very clear that Jamie was never a true member of the family and had no issue threatening his life, so why should he feel an sense of protection for the “family” that is no better than him and that made him what he is. Beth being mad at Jamie over the sterilization, is understandable; but she also kept pushing him and pushing him further away from the family and going as far as to suggest to John kill Jamie and promised she would take his child from him. What was Jamie suppose to do, just let all that happen? People hating Jamie for sterilizing Beth and having a part in John’s death makes complete sense. People not willing to imagine that Beth doing all she could to ruin him, possibly kill him, and take his kid, may have put Jamie in a desperate position is absolutely infuriating.

That's the downside of this show, Beth always for the win. It insufferable watch her insulting everyone around and bullying Jamie through all the show along. If Jamie dies it will show that this show was always about Beth. Her anger is way too exaggerated. Fast forward her scenes, acting like a tough girl is so cringe.
